A solution containing 35% by weight toluene and 65% by weight
benzene is subjected to a simple batch distillation at
atmospheric pressure. For this purpose, assume relative volatility
is equal to 3. If the distillation is discontinued when the weight
of the distillate amounts to 45% of the charge, calculate the
amount of benzene in the distillate as % benzene in the charge.
