Report accompanying the Estimate for the work of Mission kakatiya- Repairs to

Ayacut : 90 Acres

Rekula cheru, Kunepally(v), Renjal (M) is having an ayacut of 90 acres and is being
irrigated by Two sluices. This is the major source for irrigation of this village. Thre co-ordinates
of the tank are Longitude 77-98-54, Lattidute 18-75-88.
The Estimate is preared with the following provisions made sub-Head wise explained below

1. BUND :-

The total length of the bund is 950 mtrs, due to improper maintanence of the tank heavy jungle
grownup over the top and sides of the bund. Which are to be cleared to avoid any further
damages to the bund. The bund is also not to its original standards number of undulations have
been formed along the length of the bund. Therfore it is required to strengthening the bund by
restoring to its original standards. Provision of steps on bund is also made for the conveyance to
the villagers for bathukamma festival.The total cost worked out to 10.85 Lakhs under this sub
head.

2. SLUICE :-

The tank is having 2 sluices which both are damaged constructed long back and heavy leakages
are occuring.the estimate is prepared for reconstruction of 2 new sluices with shuttering
arrangement. the total cost under this sub head worked out to 8.76 Lakhs.

3. WEIR :-

The existing weir not having wings,returns and apron. Hence in estimate Provision made for
construction of wings ,returns and apron. the total cost under this sub head worked out to 6.84
Lakhs.

4. IRRIGATION CHANNEL :

The irrigation canal for both the sluices are siltedup.In estimate Provision made for construction
of guide walls for two irrigation canasl for a length of 100 m each and re-sectioning of the canal
is also proposed so that the water reached to tail end ayacut. the total cost under this sub head
worked out to 5.23 Lakhs.
5. DE-SILTATION :

The heavy silt is accumulated in the tank bed due to which the capacity of the tank is reduced.
Hence the provision made for 8,400 cum quantity of silt removal from tank bed to restore the
tank to its original capacity.

DATA & RATES :

The data and rates are adopted as per S.S.R 2016-17.

The provisions made for 5% VAT and 1% labour cess in the estimate.
L.S provisions made in estimate for SID Charges, shuttering arrangement, information boards
and other unforeseen items.
The total cost of the estimate with all above provisions are worked out to Rs.41.80 Lakhs .
