Thank you for your interest in our Internal Medicine Residency Program.

We are a university-affiliated
community-based program that is fully accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical
Education (ACGME). Our campus also has accredited residencies in Family Medicine, Obstetrics/Gynecology,
and Pediatrics. We have third and fourth year medical students as well as students in Pharmacy, Allied Health,
and Nursing. We are most interested in residency candidates who have strong academic credentials and who
have an interest in clinical medicine and teaching.

American Medical School Graduates:

We participate exclusively in the National Resident Match Program (NRMP) for all U.S. medical school
graduates. This includes the couples match.

In general we interview candidates who have United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE)
Step I scores of 230 and above, Step II CK scores of 235 and above, and Step II CS-Pass, all on the first
attempt.

International Medical Graduates (IMGs):

We participate in the NRMP for IMGs and only accept applications through the Electronic
Residency Application Service (ERAS).
We sponsor a limited number of J1-visas. We do not sponsor H1 visa.
While a recent medical school graduation date is not imperative, recent clinical experience is.
U.S. clinical experience is preferred.
We do not offer externships or observerships.
In general we interview candidates who have United States Medical Licensing Examination
(USMLE) Step I scores of 230 and above, Step II CK scores of 235 and above, and Step II CS-Pass,
