Our School
University Counselling Dulwich College Beijing (DCB) is a British independent international school serving
1,450 expatriate English-speaking students, of whom 72 are in the Class of 2017.

Counselling Our students come from over 40 countries and range in age from 1 to 18. Up to Year

United States DCB is one of nine international schools in Asia that operate in partnership with
China Dulwich College in London under the World Charter and together they make up
South Korea Dulwich College International (DCI). Dulwich College in London inspects DCB and
Canada each Dulwich international school annually.

We do not rank our students or calculate grade point averages. For the duration of
course work, student progress is internally assessed each term using pre-established,
standards-based performance levels. Courses conclude with externally assessed
examinations.

Co-curricular Activities
Our students are encouraged to participate in activities that build team and
leadership skills, such as Model United Nations (MUN), Beijing Model United Nations
(BEIMUN), Debate, Interact Charities, Student Council, Masters in Technology,
Migrant Children's Foundation, the Duke of Edinburgh International Award in
addition to a sports programme at both varsity and junior varsity level where students
compete in conference play with international schools in Asia.

Academic Programmes
WASC: Western Association of IGCSE Years 10 and 11 (Grades 9 and 10)
Schools and Colleges Students take up to 11 individual examination subjects in the International General
CIS: Council of International Schools Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) course. The majority of our students also
IBO: International Baccalaureate study an accelerated mathematics programme.
Organization
ACAMIS: Association of China and All students may choose Double or Triple Award Science. While both options include
Mongolia International Schools physics, chemistry and biology, Triple Award Science is more rigorous.
FOBISIA: Federation of British
International Schools in Asia Grades are on a scale of A* to G, with a letter grade of U indicating a failure to meet
minimum standards.
