III. Procedure: 4 As
A. Activity
1. The teacher presents compound words.
2. The teacher will ask the students whether they know the meaning of the words or
not.
3. If not, the teacher will present again the same words, this time, the words are used
in a sentence.
4. The teacher will ask them again if they can guess the meaning of the words.

B. Analysis

2. What is the meaning of the word footprint?
3. What is the meaning of the word outdoor?
4. What is the meaning of the word penknife?
5. What is the meaning of the word lighthouse?

Directions: Underline the synonyms of the italicized words in the following sentences.
