Greetings Sir/Madam,

On my recent days, after writing a number of resume and letter of introduction for job
seeking and enrolling for scholarship, I usually spend my day doing what I couldnt do before
finishing my thesis. Reading unfinished book, learning japanese, watching Kurzgesagt and Bill Nye
on YouTube, and start writing again. As a bachelor degree fresh graduate and a Freelancer, i
feel this kind of life is decent enough. Its good to unload your shoulder for a while before entering
a more complicated part of life, give yourself a reward after sweating blood and tears on your
thesis, right? I think its the right time to take a break from college-activist-stuffs I used to do.

But lately, I stumbled upon my dear friend from college. We had a little talk before she told
me that BagiKata held a New Open Recruitment Program.

Ive known BagiKata since 2015, back then I was active using Ask.Fm and LineMessenger
(which I currently still do). It was an Information Hub where we can discuss and asking question
for everything. Like, literally everything. My friend told me that she sought BagiKata for advice to
mend her ugly breakup. My college senior used BagiKata to discuss about his thesis. And in some
extreme case, i heard BagiKata confronted with story about bullying or even suicide attempts. I
believe, BagiKata have been a platform where people wouldnt ever feel alone, no matter the
situation.

I personally used BagiKata as place to discuss about Indonesias current hot topic like Tax
Amnesty Program and the case between PT. GeoDipa Energy-PT Bumi Gas Energy. After that, Im
feeling some kind of attachment with the mission carried by BagiKata itself. I believe the important
of relevant information sharing, especially in this era. Back then in college and High School, I used
to form a circle where we can talks about anything, even the taboo ones. Science, philosophy,
communism, or even religion. I pretty much enjoy discussing with people, especially people with
contradict idea with me. That way, I can expand my knowledge, widen my vision of something,
thinking inter-contextually, and therefore become wiser. Not to mention my love of sharing
knowledge and information, that also motivated me to join Unpad Mengajar back in my campus,
I personally feel much more meaningful by sharing something. Adapting Mr. Descartez most
famous cogito ergo sum, I Share Therefore I am. Thats why I have a huge desire to join BagiKata
as place where I can actualize myself.

I have my confidence in my knowledge of earth and planetary science, since I was

graduated from Geological Engineering Major. Not to mention that I also have big concern for
world and Indonesias energy and natural resources. I also have advance knowledge regarding
theoretical physic and have a huge interest in philosophy, religion, natural science, anthropology,
history, music, science, and technology. In fact, Im open for everything as I called myself Jack-of-
all-trades. I cant wait and would feel greatly honored if I get a chance to contribute myself for
greater good with BagiKata.
