Objective
To provide efficient general administrative support, along with leading on logistics for visits
and assisting in developing government and implementing partner relationships, to the
DFID Liaison Office in Nay Pyi Taw
The main areas of work include, but are not limited to:
Ensuring the effective functioning of the DFID Liaison office, Nay Pyi Taw
Ensuring that logistics for visiting missions are fully organised i.e. hotel
accommodations and travel
Arranging meetings, collating and distributing papers as necessary
Drafting replies to general correspondence, invitations etc
Minute taking at the meetings
Ensuring that all rental and other agreements entered into between DFID and any
second party be tracked and alerted in a timely manner to enable the Head of DFID
Liaison Office to instruct changes or update when necessary
Ensuring that DFID assets are fully tracked and full record keeping is maintained
Ensuring that inventory of assets are conducted on a quarterly basis
Perform any other administrative tasks as delegated to you by your line manager
and to take initiative to actively solve problems as they arise
Reporting lines
The Office and Liaison Manager will report to the Head of DFID Liaison Office, Nay Pyi
Taw, with the Head of Operations acting as the Countersigning Officer.
