Week 5 Assignment 2
Jesse Rotz

The design for this office

space is contemporary, in-
dustrial, and minimalistic.
Colors for this space will be
white with a lime green ac-
cent color. The materials
of the flooring, (concrete),
along with the exposed brick
around the elevator shaft
will add to the industrialism
of the design. Furnishings will
have clean lines and dura-
ble materials. All of these el- Paint Colors Reception Desk Sketch

ements will work to achieve

a well-balanced, peaceful
office environment to reduce
stress and encourage cre-
ative work.

Reflection

This course has given me a broader understanding and appreciation for Revit. I
hadnt previously realized just how much you can do with this program and how
realistic your renderings can turn out. The manipulation of materials, colors, and
lighting further developed my design and made it far more interesting and closer
to my original vision for the spaces. This will help me when presenting my design
vision to the client(s) for their space. I also enjoyed working with 3ds Max, as it was
another way to render 3D perspectives for client presentation. I think both pro-
grams offer different effects for the final rendering, but the one I felt did the best
job was Revit. The quality and color of the renderings were excellent and clearly
represented my design intent for the spaces.
