In daily life we often see the event of a sale and purchase of goods. On
buying and selling activities are included on the purchase price, sale-price, profit or loss.

Example :
The price of a pencil Rp 2.000,00. How are the price for 12 pencils ?
Answer :
Price of 12 pencils = 12 X Rp2.000,00
= Rp24.000,00

B, The purchase, sale, profit, and loss.

Problem :
Ally bought a candy , the price is Rp5000,00. Then she Sells that candy Rp5.750,00.
According the activits of Ally, we can conclude that :
The purchase price is Rp. 5000,-
The sale price is Rp. 5750,-.So ,the value of thing is Purchase price and the value
of thing that will to sell is sale price.
a. When the seller told profit and loss?
b. If the seller, sell thing with prices is more then buy, it called profit. And the
Contrary, the seller is loss.
The conclusion are :
Profit = Sale prices Purchase price
Loss = Purchase price Sale price

Example

The price of shoes Rp125.000,00. Then the shoes sell with Rp 150.000,00. Determine
the loss or the profit
The answer :
Purchase price = Rp125.000,00\
Sale Price = Rp 150.000,00

= Rp 150.000,00 - Rp125.000,00

= Rp25.000,00 -
