Introduction
lnvestorwhiz.com is an 8-month old startup focused at Indian stock markets. It was made with an
aim to democratize investment analysis related tools and ideas for retail investors. The company
prides itself for its originality of content and approach towards stock investment

The website has already started creating waves in the industry and has many firsts to its credit.
It is the first website in India that provides detailed summaries on earnings concalls. It is also
Indias first website that gives infographics on current affairs and sector anaylsis. The
startup was founded by a bunch of friends who are passionate about stock investing and have
managed to grow their portfolio at 31.5% CAGR over the past 8 years

The founders of lnvestorwhiz have some exciting plans for their venture. They will soon be
deploying their patented fundamental analysis platform on the web for investors to access a
remarkable tool for quantitative analysis of companies. There is also a plan to set up a buy side
fund based in Singapore in the foreseeable future

Scope of project
The scope of project is to provide two types of deliverables in the below mentioned quantity.

1. Stock Analysis A stock brief is 10 to 12 pager document which
follows a set outline (mentioned below). This
document essentially makes an investor aware

2. Concall summary It is a pointwise summary of earnings concall that
the companies come up with at the end of every
quarter. The guidelines given below for 10
summaries should be strictly followed

Guidelines
I The scope/ tentative outline for Stock brief is mentioned below:

1. Introduction of the company out lining the main business of the company (in not more
than 200 words)
2. Shareholding pattern of the company (in not more than 100 words + a pie chart to
indicate the same)
3. Key milestones of the company (in not more 200 words, use image/sm art-art if
available instead of text)
4. Business divisions of the company or segmental information (in not more than 300
words)

 5. Product portfolio (in not more than 300 words, make sure to use images for the different
kinds of products offered)
6. Locations of the company's offices or factories, distributors etc (in not more than 200
words- make use of maps to show locations if necessary)
7. Major customers of the company (in not more than 150 words)
8. Revenue analysis of the company- export vs domestic, segmental split etc
9. Key initiatives taken like expansion plans, capex, new product launch (in not more than
250 words)
10. Competitive advantage of the company (in not more than 350 words)
11. Conclusion (in not more than 150 words)
12. The excel to add financial statements with relevant graphs will be provided separately by us

of what is required
14. The student is allowed to use investor ppt available at the company's websites for
information

The above sections are not fixed and the writer can add more sections if needed

II Guidelines for concall summary

1. Earnings concall transcript will be provided
2. The summaries should be in points under different sub headings
3. No detail should be left out no matter how seemingly trivial
4. There is no word or page limit to the summary

of what is required

Project timeline
The total project duration is 2 months (60 days). Please send in your deliverables on a bi-
monthly basis in the given format:

The resources (i.e , helpful websites to create deliverables) and the transcripts and investor
ppt will be shared with the selected candidates at a later stage.

Selection criterion
A total of 10 candidates will be selected. The selection process will consist of two/three steps:

1. Initial Screening of Resumes

2. Candidates need to send a descriptive write up on a given topic (in not more than 1000
words). The topic will be from the finance domain to gauge the financial skills. Format
of the write up will l be shared with the shortlisted candidates
3. Short listed candidates will have a 10 to 15 minutes interview (to be arranged on
Saturday and Sunday depending upon the candidate's availability )

Key points to remember

1. Plagiarism of any kind for the article given as part of selection process is strictly
prohibited. Any candidate found guilty of it will be disqualified
2. All the material created by the candidate and submitted to lnvestorwhiz will be a
property of lnvestorwhiz .,
3. lnvestorwhiz reserves the right to publish content created by candidate in whatever
form deemed fit
4. Out of the 10 candidates, 5 will be selected based on their quality of work for a further
assignment of creating 1 sector report for a stipend of INR 1000. Format of the report
will be shared post completion of the project
5. Project will be deemed complete only after the candidate has submitted 10 concall
summaries and 5 stock briefs
6. Each candidate will be awarded a certificate of completion of the live project post
submission of the work
7. Based on quality of work and enthusiasm of the candidate we are happy to engage with
the candidate for further work on a freelance basis with attractive remuneration.
