The War against our Mistakes

Since the day I stepped into the model town of Canada I saw it as the perfect country to live.
Irrespective of being a prime minster or a regular citizen, Canada seemed like the best place to
spend a lifetime. It seemed like that until the cloud of pollutions roamed over this area too.
With the world suffering from severe climate issues caused by the pollution Canada is no
exception. Being the PM I would like to focus on the issue which irrespective of our names,
color and even species is causing harms to each one of our lives. There are animals, plants along
us, human beings whore suffering from the extremely increasing levels of pollution in the
environment.

Greater Idea
Being a citizen of Canada makes all of us a global citizen, our work defines our image
throughout the globe and I would want us to be the people of actions not only the words. I
would implement a smart environmental policy focusing on the earth eating pollutants and give
each citizen of Canada a chance to improve and take part in the service of mother earth. The
policy, will enable the population to detect the levels of pollution using tools that are already
available in stores and report to a new batch of local pollution checking community.
This community, further will be dedicated to response to these complaints and detect the cause
of the level of pollution going beyond the adequate level and make the required arrangements
within a satisfactory time making sure that the pollution stops before it starts to harm any living
being. The community, when done with the pollution control would be able to handle it to
another team of expert environmentalist to undo the damage done by the pollution and put
the things where they belong.
The actions required to mend the area will include afforestation, refiltration of the water and
food available in that area along with a pest inspection which will leave no human or otherwise
in even a slightest harm.

The trouble makers

The cure of any being, let it be a hospital patient or the earth itself is not complete until the
core virus or the root cause is still active. And when were going to fight the concerning
problem of Pollution then the causes are numerous. As quoted by current government of

Pollution sources include activities and services we take for granted, such as industry, the road
salt that makes winter transportation safer, and the chemicals used to dry clean clothes.
Which forces us to come back to the fact how only we, the humans are giving birth of the
pollution for our temporary comfort and long-term suffering. The sources or the actions that
causes a hype in the level of pollution can be categorized for a better inspection as:
Vehicles
Take large trucks that deliver our daily needs, buses that we take to reach our colleges, our
SUVs, pick-up trucks or minivans without seeing whom our no day has passed, all of them are
major supporter to the increasing level of air pollution, particularly in the urban and sub-urban
areas. These vehicles emit threating pollutants including VOCs, nitrogen oxides (NOx), carbon
monoxide (CO) and Sulphur oxides (SOx) to name a few.
All of them can lead to a very severe route that will eventually lead to the death. Being the PM,
I would like to ensure that my policy reduces the impact of our vehicles with the help of
solutions as simple as more regular pollution inspection of vehicles and car-polling
recommendations.

Farming Utilities
Though our farmers stay closest to the nature and its creation their relationship with them is no
better than ours. The farming, forestry and mining industries, all use diesel engines and emit
nitrogen oxides and volatile organic as much as 480,000 heavy duty vehicles. (As mentioned in

The needs of the agriculture sector cant be ignored if we want to get our food in time and at
affordable rates, so making small groups of farmers for shared crop processing and teaching of
some easier, eco-friendly traditional techniques is what my policies will be focusing on here.

Industries
Being a major part of what makes our life so easy and going with flow, our industries are
something we cant completely cut out. But still, we cant ignore that when were working hard
to protect ourselves and fight a war against the pollutants since Industries are one of the
biggest causes of pollution worldwide.
Implementing actions to reduce the use of harmful openly disposed chemicals with a properly
developed Code of Practice, the problem can be tackled without causing a huge mess in the
market.
Take the example of the metal and mineral processing sector whose unwanted materials, let
alone the pollutants released by their machines are contaminating all three of air, water and
land. Activities like this cant be left unchecked and will be given proper inspection under the
policies developed by my government if I ever get a chance to from the government.
Backing up the industry will let our economy boom but making it environment friendly will give
it a healthier and happier work environment causing yet another hype in the economic graphs
of our country.

Communities
After all the working machines, robots and our transportation we as their consumers are yet
another cause of the ever-growing family of pollutants around Canada. Being a knower of the
impacts of those small actions that we dont take we are leading ourselves and our nation to a
great downfall which we may not see now, but will all be doomed by someday.
Treating our waterbodies or parks as dustbins, not trying to recycle even the stuff like water
bottles and laughing on the thoughts of climate change, many of us are taking our planet to a
great ride to a condemned future.
Causing the change in the thinking is going to be the hardest part and for the same, my
government, I ever come into power will be focusing on teaching all the concepts about our
dying planet as early as middle school with classes particularly focusing on the development of
future environmentalist and likewise. Other than teaching our young minds, camps and
government backed non-profit rallies and campaigns for the sake of our environment will be a
major focus for the citizens of Canada.

Calling out the troublemakers

With a mindset of solider in head, the first move after getting a group together is to measure
the power and resources of the enemies which in this case are the pollutants.
The concept of war against pollutions isnt as unexplainable variably as it sounds. The best way
to test out this enemy of war is with a tactical analysis of the areas considered to be least and
most polluted in the country like Canadian Environment research of 1999. The results when
combined with the condition of the wildlife and disease level of the areas will help us aim at an
acceptable variable of number of people suffering from a range of diseases with the ratio of the
pollution level of those areas.
The places with higher, what I call, trouble-making ratio are the ones that will get the required
actions of anti-pollution actions. And any change in this ratio can be analyzed over a shorter
period if compared to the number of pollutants changing in air or measuring the vehicles,
machines and spilled garbage bins causing pollution.
Thus, an easier evaluation will let the government work effectively on focusing on the areas
that need the focus irrespective of their history or rumors and with the status of the wildlife
and humanity being affected and harmed by the environment around them.
The Plan for a Revolution
Now, when there is a battle ground the next step any army makes is to construct a definite plan
of action to stick to and train its warriors to implement it with utter determination and full
efforts.
As discussed, several times above, the issue of pollution can be solved with a joint taskforce
working with dedication only. Whether it is the coming together of industries, farmers or
travelers to use machines jointly and help in this revolution of their levels or the plan to bring a
greater change in the minds of people with planned contributions of education system and
media coverage around it, all the efforts can lead to a special and key change in bring around a
change and improving the environment we share with every other creation of earth.
This plan for the revolution is expected to work in a multi-step chain which goes as follow:

Teaming Up
The major step of implementing the perfect layout for the eradication of the pollution from our
nation will be getting the best men in the field together along with some nave to generate not
only a nice outcome with a good team but also expand the knowledge of a few individuals to a
community.
My government will be working to generate not only paid jobs in a new anti-pollution field but
will also uplift public service towards the areas that need attention.
Based on our real experiments, researches, and studies, well be selecting individuals living in
the affected areas and the best teachers and generate a platform like the popular non-profit,
TED.
The role of local citizens, and social activist will remain useless until the actual people in power
come to rescue of the nature too. So, the policies thatll be formed under my guidance will try
to push the people of the government and other public areas to interact, report and work
against the pollution that many of them were ignoring altogether.

Inspection
When our team of dedicated is ready to come into action, the first set of them will be asked to
work on the research and inspection of the pollution level throughout the areas and cities they
stay in.
And gain not only hard scientific statistics but also collect the opinion, stories and experiences
of the residents of those areas so let us find more about the problems that may otherwise go
unchecked like the lazy work of any public cleaner, heavy traffic on the roads of that area or
some alien sources causing disruption in their environment, all of which will then be further
studied and mended with, if needed, new policies focusing on the needy area or sector under
the eye of another part of the action team.
Thus, generating policies which dont see the whole country as an individual and giving equal
attention and rather focusing on those which need all the effort and money will not only bring a
greater sense of justice, stability and later, equality throughout the nation but will also
eradicate the sense of corruption that might grow with extra money in the hands of individuals
looking after the areas that dont need it.

Calling out
When one is trying to bring out a greater change in the historic policies and living of the people
they become answerable to the whole population that may or may not adjust according to the
new set of requests and rules.
So, further clashes will be avoided by our team with regular public interactions commanded by
no other than the chief individuals of the general government wherever their schedule is letting
them do so.
And since no form of the democratic working can go on without the public opinion, all the
policies focusing on the specific areas will be passed under the guidance of the respected
individuals of that area along with a general poll to collectively detect the whole experience and
vision of the community about the area.

Fund Raising and Public Support

Though its quite fundamental that the government will be providing the needed money for
eradicating the sources of the pollution but for further ease, relief on the overall economy and
transparency of the system, well be partnering with other minor organizations of the area with
similar goals to let people of the local public support in their own way while getting not only a
better nature to live in but also a better look at what their elected individuals are doing for
them.
As explained earlier, there will be a static ratio to fight in every single sector on which the plan
will be focusing and the ratio which in defined by the ratio of level of pollution in the area to
the strength of troubles caused by it in the same area.
Fighting a number, in every single way will be more effective, visible and helpful for the proper
implantation of the plan which will be getting utter determination and focus.
The focus that issues like pollution deserve should be equal to the defense system because
wars and practices of war are yet another cause in increased level of pollution for the areas
where they take place. Thus, the attention that a cause is getting should be equal if not more
than the attention its seemingly minor but effectively major consequences.
Evaluation || Will this plan work?
Whether our soundly good policies are making a difference is something that must be tested
before investing any more of the resources and efforts in it. So, the actual coming into action of

People working and being the part of events organized for the awareness about the
issues and discussions of the same
Amount of waste disposed but not cleaned
The level of pollutant in land used to generate our food items
Strength of the pollution supporting ingredients used in our everyday appliances.

Is the solution even valid?

Doubting new concepts is common to every human and is completely acceptable. This plan to
action will work or not can be seen by comparing it to the previous concepts that were tried to
implement throughout the world. The major three among them include:

Clean India
Launched in 2014, this was a nation-wide attempt to eradicate the unclean areas that were
causing a huge mess in the soil and when burnt in open caused a serious increase in the air
pollution as well.
Likewise, is a mini-tier of the policy that is being planned by me as the PM but with more
number of people to inspect, more serious workers and larger scale level of the public
awareness itll lead to as well benefits as this cleaning program of India.
 The Philippine Clean Air Act
The government of Philippine have announced an anti-pollution program back in 2013 laying
huge sets of rules for the smoke released into air by the smokers, vehicles and the industries
which on crossing certain levels will lead to serious fines.
Like this is going to be the inspection of our government where not only the local people, but
the government will be tested with an exam against the pollution and the impact that it causes.
Unlike regular exams itll somewhat like an evaluation of the actions of the people which may
lead to the increase if the pollution level if left uncheck. In other words, the government will try
to implement as serious environment rules as the traffic rules of any nation are.

Coalition for Clean Air (CCA)

This California based origination dedicated itself to reduce the levels of air pollution by
increasing the inspection and quality of the monitoring of the air throughout the state.
Following the example of which, the evaluation and testing of the level of pollution in not only
air but land and water will be conducted with the help of experts and local educationalist and
environments from the world.
There will even be a school like structure to teach the interested individuals how well can they
fight back to get our nation out of the pollution and its harmful impacts.
Thus, with help and taking examples of the world as the base of our working, my government
will make sure that the best quality of efforts is put out to fight this ever-lasting problem of
pollution.

The Aftereffects and Final Inspection

Getting into power in Canada only let you stay in the position for a few years and after that
what results have your efforts generated are looked upon.
And for this report card for at least the war against Pollution my government will be presenting
a hard database of three major stages to let the world know what we were up to.

Investment and Economy

Here, well research how much money have we used up for the actions of our government in
this region and how much jobs have we created in the war against the pollution.
Comparing the two, well be able to determine if these plans and actions can be used by future
government and if needed, by the people around the globe and at what cost or profit.

Happy Level
The changed experienced by the people in their working and the environment itself will be
detected by polls, discussions and public debates on the implementation and consequences of
the plan that was used by the government in action.
It will let us find out what positive or negative vision have developed in the society about this
action plan and how well are people going to accept its future levels.
Also, well be able to find out the faults that have led to other problems or disruptions in the
schedules of people (if any).

Finally, as discussed above, the science will be there to give strict numbers, graphs and ratios to
let the world see how much actual change have been made in the level of pollution and
comfort of not only human bodies but wildlife and plants too.
