Bobby Guidry, the man behind one of the most infamous bribes in Louisiana history, used various companies registered to a single Harvey address to shower LaToya Cantrell’s campaign with cash a few days before she was elected mayor of New Orleans.

Good Afternoon Mr. Hammer,
My office in Harvey, Louisiana informed me that you came by and left your email
address. My response to my decision to support LaToya Cantrell in the Mayoral race is as.
follows:
Lam presently investing $60 Million in the City of New Orleans. I'm building a new
Residence Inn Marriott brand hotel at 316 St. Charles Avenue. When completed, it will be the
first hotel built from the ground up in seventeen years. All has been permitted and the
construction is well on its way. This $60 Million investment is the reason why I felt I had to
support the right candidate who understands the city’s government.
watched all the debates from the beginning of this Mayoral race, and | feel that the most
knowledgeable candidate, in my opinion, was LaToya Cantrell.
Therefore, because of my concems about the everyday crime situation in the city and
after listening to Mrs. Cantrell, I am hoping that she will find a way to increase the safety of the
citizens and visitors of this great, historical city.
1 feel LaToya has her heart and soul buried in the desire to better the overall situation in
the city. As we all know, conventions and tourism play an imperative role in the financial aspects
of the city’s government. T have a strong feeling that the Madam Mayor to be will take all
businesses and citizens concems into consideration going forward.
Sincerely,
Robert Guidry
