Starter: Students were introduced to the basic materials to find out the objects and their
names and tell them what we will do by these materials.

Main activity: The students closed the hole of the water canister with cotton and then with a
piece and put it inverted.
Then they put sand and stones.

After that they put dirty water.

Closing: Groups When they finished the experiment the teacher asked them what they notice and why
the color of the water changed and is it clean or not?

Starter: The students read the story about recycling with the teacher, on the carpet, and
some questions were asked such as: Why do we recycle some things?

Main activity: Then I took the students to walk around the school to see if there was a trash
can used for recycling. And read the words written on the trash to know what
should we put in them.
Closing: Groups The teacher asks the students What if you look at a student put garbage in the wrong
place? How should we alert them?

Upon returning to class, the students solved the questions in the book and asked what things
could be recycled.
