Abstract

France was the main character in the European efforts to colonize Africa and somehow
left its mark in many ways, including language. Despite the vast knowledge about the
huge French empire (from XVII to1960), little is known about how the formers and
actuals French colonies have developed in every aspect through the years. For
instance, about the constitutional monarchy of Morocco or the Kingdom of Morocco.
The overall image that emerges from Morocco is that is an Arab country but
sometimes is forgotten that this county was under control of Portuguese, Spanish and
French people, so in certain way this has create consequences which have built this
country until these days. Currently the official language is Arabic but is considered as a
French speaker country as well. This country has an interesting culture that comes
from the prehistory, the Berebers which is native ethnic groups from North Africa,
Arabs ethnic groups, the Islamic religion and European colonies. This project is
summary about the main aspects such as politics, currency, religion, festivities,
languages, history and important places in this Kingdom, thus, a non-Moroccan person
can learn and understand in certain way, Morocco and a the same time, know a little
bit of a Arab-French speaker country.

El objetivo del presente proyecto es el ampliar los conocimientos sobre uno de los
pases francfonos. Los pases francfonos (tienen como lengua oficial el francs)
poseen esta idioma ya que en su pasado fueron colonias de Francia ya sea por su
ubicacin geogrfica con fines militares o los recursos que posean estas zonas, los
pases tales como Argelia, Costa de Marfil, Luxemburgo, Marruecos, entre otros. En
este proyecto hablaremos acerca de Marruecos o Reino de Marruecos, tocaremos un
poco de los temas de geografa, religin, poltica hasta los temas de moneda, lugares
tursticos, historia y curiosidades del pas.

En conclusin aprendimos un poco de cada tema, desde la religin que posee que es
el Islam, las diferentes lenguas que se hablan como el rabe, espaol, el francs y una
serie de lenguas nativas, tambin aprendimos donde est ubicado el pas, sus
principales lugares tursticos que se basan en ciudades antiguas basadas en antiguos
reinos dentro de Marruecos desde los Bereberes y romanos hasta las majestuosas
mezquitas, adems de poseer una geografa alucinante desde hermosas playas como
Saidia hasta unas cascadas majestuosas que son las cascadas de Ouzoud. Tienen una
cultura influenciada por los espaoles con quienes comparten frontera y fueron
colonia a la par de los franceses.
