Circular
As per the UGC Notification dated 19-May-2016 the students needs to be awarded degree
within 180 days of date by which they are expected to qualify and become eligible for the degree
certificate. In this regard, this is to inform to all concerned that Mid Year Conferment of
Degree/Diploma - 2017 of Gujarat Technological University is proposed to be done in June, 2017
in Absentia Mode. In this Mid Year Conferment of Degree/Diploma - 2017 the degrees of BE,
B.Pharm., DE, DA, PDDC, ME, M.Pharm., M.B.A., and M.C.A. has been awarded to the students
who have cleared all the prescribed norms.

All the students of GTU who have passed/qualified for Degree/Diploma in Winter-2016
Examination may apply in the prescribed online form available at University website:
www.gtu.ac.in in Student Zone under Convocation option. The last date to fill the online form
and submitting the same to the University is 06-07-2017 (Thursday) by 5.00 pm.

All the students will get their certificate by Speed Post at their residential address. Application
received after the last date or incomplete applications, due to any reason, will not be considered
for receiving Degree/Diploma.
