PURPOSE OF THE TRAINING AGENDA


To increase the participants understanding Part One
regarding the various public safety concerns 9:00 a.m. Welcome Remarks
and government roles and responses. 9:15 a.m. Public Safety Concerns and
Issues like vandalism, arson, Internet scams, Government Responses and
cyber threats, bomb threats, active shooter Resources (1.25 hours/panel)
and hate crimes will be covered. 10:45 a.m. Perspectives from Faith Communities
To increase the participants knowledge (1.25 hours/panel)
about planning and preparing for an active 12:00 p.m. Lunch on your own
threat.
To provide participants with tools to build Part Two
an emergency operations plan. 1:15 p.m. Planning and Preparing for an Active
Threat (45 mins)
