Agnes Monica Muljoto commonly called fans Agnes Monica was born in Jakarta on
July 1st, 1986 is a singer and a female artist from Indonesia. She is one of multi-
talented singers and actress in Indonesia. She has lovely parents named Ricky
Suprapto and Jenny Siswono.
Her elder brother named Steve Muljoto manages her carrier very well. He always
accompanies Agnes in every single day of her life.
Agnes not only has a good achievement in her academic at school, but also in her
extra activities. She is good in Singing, playing piano, and English. She is a smart
and good girl.
Tarakanita is her elementary school and she continued her study at Pelita Harapan
Junior and Senior High School. However, she decided to resign from Pelita Harapan
University and she took a program of Distance Education at Oregon States
University (USO). Wow!
She began her career in entertainment at the age when it was still six years as a
child singer.
At that time, Agnes released three albums of children who also managed to bring her
name to the line of popular singer in the era of the 90s. Not only in singing, Agnes
became a presenter on several TV shows. In her teens, Agnes ventured to plunge

Agnes released her first album in his adult life, titled And the Story Goes in 2003,

In 2005, Agnes released her second album, titled Whaddup A ..?!. In this album,
Agnes duet with on of famous singers from the United States, Keith Martin. Agnes
also was involved in filming the Asian Drama Serial, such as The Hospital and
Romance in the White House.
In 2008 and 2009, Agnes also won the award two years in a row since his
appearance at the Asia Song Festival in Seoul, South Korea. In the third album
Sacredly Agnezious in 2009, Agnes began to get involved as a producer and
songwriter. She was appointed as a judge on a talent show in Indonesia, Indonesian
Idol in 2010.
In the same year, Agnes launched her single song titled Karena Ku Sanggup which
she created with Andi Rianto. She also briefly starred in the film titled Pejantan
Cantik on Indosiar (One of Tv Station in Indonesia).
On November 21st, 2010, Agnes became one of the host red carpet awards in
American Music Awards held at the Nokia Theatre, Los Angeles, United States. At
that time Agnes performed using batik and kebaya dress, and the occasional use of
the Indonesian language.
On that occasion, Agnes also collaborated with the singer from Mexico, Christian
Chvez in a song called En Dnde Ests? are packaged in Spanish, English and
Indonesian.
On February 2nd, 2011, Agnes launched the best compilation album entitled Agnes
Is My Name. This album contains 10 singles selection of three previous studio
albums, plus two new songs Karena Ku Sanggup and Paralyzed.
On March 23rd, 2011, to coincide with the celebration of Day of National Music,
Agnes received the award Nugraha Bhakti Music Indonesia (NBMI) of the Ministry of
Culture and Tourism and the Union of Artists Singers, Songwriters, and Playground
Music Recordings Indonesia (PAPPRI) for their dedication and contributions, either
of thought and deed, for the progress and development as well as preservation of
Indonesian music.
Agnes also umpteenth time awarded in Anugerah Music Indonesia (AMI), in 2011
she won the category Best Female Solo Actress.
In the same year Agnes released the single entitled Rindu, which is a creation of
Eros Djarot originally popularized by Fryda in 1995.
Agnes also won nomination as Worldwide Act Asia Pacific at the awards MTV
Europe Music Awards in 2011. Agnes also was nominated for the American
Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards 2012 in the category Favorite Asian Act.
However, Agnes failed to win those awards.
In 2012, Agnes won the category of Best Asian Indonesian Artist at the Mnet Asian
Music Awards. Agnes Monica was also awarded the Best Celebrity Fashion
SHORTY AWARDS in 2013. Not only in the category of Best Singer, Agnes also
managed to shift the position of Justin Bieber in the category Best Celebrity Fashion
SHORTY AWARDS 2013. For this category Agnes collecting 1199 votes, while
Justin Bieber is surprisingly only obtained 74 votes. Woww!!!
