The Vermeer BoreAid 4.0 HDD design tool assists contractors, engineers and project owners in planning, designing and completing horizontal
directional drilling (HDD) jobs. It streamlines your planning and design time by considering key aspects of a drill project such as topography/soil for
bore path planning, product pipe selection, load calculation, drilling fluid management and pressure estimation based on current industry standards
(ASTM/PRCI) and best practices. By taking into account consistent HDD planning and design methods, the Vermeer BoreAid design tool helps you
perform a bore operation efficiently.

The Vermeer BoreAid 4.0 design tool is available in the Standard or Pro version. It provides a full suite of tools to complete
HDD designs following the ASTM F1962 standard for plastic (PE or PVC) pipe and PRCI methodology for steel (or fiberglass) pipe.
The Pro package extends the ASTM and PRCI methodologies to permit complex bore geometries multiple compound curves/
tangent segments and inadvertent return analysis. The key difference between the Standard version and Pro package is the
inclusion of the advanced bore construction utility, inadvertent return module and as-built pipe stress capabilities.
