Meet Warm-Up Procedures

1. All 8 lanes to be used for generic swimming purposes for the designated length of
period 1.
2. Pool entry must be feet first from the scoreboard end only. There will be no diving
during this period.
3. Swimmers must observe the alternate clockwise anticlockwise lane circling.
4. Paddles are not permitted in the pools during warm-up or swim down periods.
5. Swimmers should exit the pool at the side and not over the timing pads.
6. Afternoon sessions will have race specific lanes open during generic swimming period

Swimmers in Lanes 1, 2, 3, 6, 7 & 8 must exit the Pool at the Boom end

1. Lanes 1,2,3,6,7,8 in the Both Pools may be used for 25m sprints with a dive entry from
the Scoreboard End in the Race pool and the Entrance end in Pool 2. Swimmers must
exit the pool immediately at the opposite end. Swimming back to the diving end of the
pool is not permitted.
2. Swimmers should exit the pool at the side and not over the timing pads.
3. Additional Sprint lanes will be announced depending on demand.
4. At the conclusion of the Warm-Up period, coaches and Team Managers are asked to
have their team members leave the pool promptly.
Session Warm up and Start Times
Coaches and athletes are asked to cooperate with these procedures to give every
competitor the best opportunity to prepare for their events.

In the interests of swimmer safety, the following pool procedures must be observed
throughout the warm-up periods or as directed by the announcer. Warm-ups to be
split into 3 distinct periods.

COACH INFO
The meet is busy and to assist with the smooth running of the meet we
will be using sign in sheets. These Sheets will be in the entrance foyer.
It is hoped this is a visual reminder for the swimmers but no one the
less please ensure they have checked.

Sign in sheets will be removed at the beginning of the second warm up


in each session.
They will be available as soon as the building opens and the next
session will be available during the previous session.
Anyone missing sign in for their event will be removed and any
accidents that occur will be placed into an available empty lane
where this is easily achievable and only with prior notification to the
meet manager.
Coaches/Team Managers will be able to access hot and cold drinks with
a valid coach pass.
Coaches will also be able to access a light lunch from the event catering
area.when its gone its gone so please only have 1 lunch..

ongoing success of the meets.
