Spanish 2 Upcoming Plans Oct 3rd-28th

In preparation for our Day of the Dead Celebration we will be spending time learning more in depth
about our Hispanic Heroes. Specifically students will be researching and reading about these heroes and
what things they valued in their lives. Once this step is complete we will move on to learning about what
Day of the Dead is and how it is celebrated in Mexico. Afterwards, students will be able to take a gallery
walk with their class to identify each part of the altars and draw conclusions about why there were
decorated with certain items and their meaning.

Below is a brief overview of what these coming weeks are going to look like. I have accounted for days
that might be missed class time to ensure plenty of time to cover topics.
