There are several factors that can support the attitude of patient compliance among
family support. This study aims to determine the relationship of family support with
the incidence of loss to follow up antiretroviral therapy in HIV / AIDS patients in
puskesmas gerokgak 1. The research design used is a cross-sectional descriptive with
a cross-sectional design. The population used in this study were patients with HIV-
AIDS who entered CST program at gerokgak health center 1. Sampling was done by
total sampling method and got sample number 57 patients with HIV-AIDS. Primary
data from the respondents were collected using a family support questionnaire and a
loss to follow up observation sheet. This study used chi-square test. Chi-quare test
results obtained p value (0,000) < (0.05), meaning H0 rejected and Ha accepted. So it
can be concluded that there is a relationship of family support with the incidence of
loss to follow up antiretroviral therapy on HIV / AIDS patients in gerokgak health
center 1. From the analysis results also obtained OR = 38.00, meaning that
respondents who have good family support have a chance 38 times for No Loss To
Follow Up compared to respondents with poor family support.
