Jennifers Journal - Wellsprings

Jennifer, a middle school earth science teacher, wrote down a vivid dream the Lord gave her the
week after school started. After she recorded the dream in her journal she wrote down the scriptures
and messages she believed the Lord wanted her to receive from this dream in the form of devotional
letters from Him. This is the second set of scriptures and letter she received.

whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him[her] will never thirst; the water that I shall give him[her] will become in him[her] a
spring of water welling up to eternal life. (John 4:14)

Above all else, guard the wellsprings of your heart for everything you do flows from it. (Proverbs 4:23)

With our tongues we bless God our Father; with the same tongues we curse the very men and women he made in his image. Curses
and blessings out of the same mouth! My friends, this cant go on. A spring doesnt gush fresh [sweet] water one day and brackish
[bitter] the next, does it? (James 3:7-12)

The tongue has the power of life and death. (Proverbs 18:21)

My Sweet Wellspring,
As you come to me to seek my face and inquire of me in your professional life you will become a wellspring of living water in
my pasture, the school where I have called and sent you. When you join with other educators to agree in prayer at your school you will
become a stream. When you join with other Christian educators beyond your school you will become a part of my river which can be
used to tear down many dams [damns] of men and irrigate and flood other schools, other pastures, with my Spirit and love.
Remember bitter and sweet water cannot flow from the same well. I want to constantly pour wisdom, encouragement, praise,
laughter, and the truth through your lips, not gossip, condemnation, judgment, or vain plans and ideas. Remember your mouth is the
opening of a deep well and in it is the power of life and death. LIFE BE in your mouth! LIFE BE in the mouths of the students, staff, and
parents you serve!
Love - Your Source,

Jesus
Prayer: Lord, help us guard the wellsprings of our hearts in our professional lives. LIFE BE in our mouths and in the mouths of the
students, staff and parents we serve!
Reflection: What percent of my speech in my professional life is fresh [sweet] water and what percentage is brackish [bitter] water?
What is Jesus inviting me to stop doing and start doing in order to get 100% pure wellspring water?
Getting Real: Ask Jesus how He wants you to produce pure sweet spring water. Write in a journal what He tells you to do. Follow His
instructions.

CLASSROOM LIGHTHOUSE SERIES: Fields of Faith in Education (For info or prayer contact ceaihouston@sbcglobal.net.) WEEK 4

FIELDS OF FAITH PRAYER: Lord, build and establish these schools with Your wisdom. Through love and knowledge, fill the
students and staff members with rare and beautiful treasures. Teach the educators in these schools to guard the wellsprings
of their hearts. LIFE BE in their mouths and in the mouths of the students and parents they serve. Use the educators in these
schools to feed your lambs and sheep, to transform wolves into sheep, and to lead youth to their hope and future in You.
