Quiero conocer a tu familia! For this project you will make a poster board, trifold, booklet, mobile, etc. to introduce
me to your family. You may use your notes, the textbook, or me to help you, but NOT Google Translate. You should
pay close attention to the rubric, as I will be using the rubric to grade your project. This project is due on

You will be graded on the following criteria:

1) Neatness and creativity: The presentation of the family tree should be neat (worthy of posting in the hallway)
and creative (one-of-a-kind). You should also include pictures or really nice colored drawings of your family
members.
2) Family relationships and names: You must include 10 family members and introduce each in a complete
sentence, stating his/her name and relationship to you. (Ex. Mi abuelo se llama Charlie.)
3) Age of family members: You must give the age of each family member you choose using the verb tener
(Ej. Mi perro tiene 3 aos.)
4) Descriptions of family members: You must describe each family member in a complete sentence using at
least 2 adjectives (remember gender agreement!). (Ej. Mi perro es delgado y tiene ojos morenos.) Use a
variety of adjectives: At least one expression of height, size, hair color, hair length, eye color, and
attractiveness
5) Grammar: This is a project grade and you have access to your notes so I expect you to use proper sentence
structure and spelling.
6) Appropriate use of class time: You will have time in class to write your sentences and receive feedback. I
expect you to complete your rough draft in class (without the help of Google Translate), seek feedback, and
submit your rough draft along with your final project.
