COURSE OUTLINE
(Course Title)
Course Description: This course covers the multitude of Philippine contemporary arts on the regional scale for
the purpose of instilling in the minds and hearts of the students the spirit of patriotism, pride and appreciation of
the richness of our local culture and arts.

Grading System:
WW = Written Work Component help strengthen test-taking skills among learners, which may include long
quizzes, and unit or long test. Other written work may include essays, written reports, and other
written output.
PT = Performance Task Components allow learners to demonstrate the acquired skills and concepts
from written form. Written output may be considered based on the objective of the activities.
QA = Quarterly Assessment is the assessment to be conducted for every end of the quarter. It may be
objective test, performance-based assessment, or combination thereof.
FG (Final Grade) = First Quarter Grade (50%) + Second Quarter Grade (30%)
1. All students are expected to attend the classes REGULARLY AND PUNCTUALLY.
2. They should COME PREPARED in class. This includes preparation for the assignment, readings,
quizzes, and other classroom activities.
3. They should PARTICIPATE ACTIVELY in class.
4. Requirements should be submitted on/or before the set deadline. Otherwise, there will be corresponding
DEDUCTION OF 1 POINT for every day late from the date of submission. Projects submitted beyond 3
DAYS (excluding Sunday) from the deadline will no longer be entertained unless if it is for a valid
reason to be determined by the instructor.
5. Use of cellphone is STRICTLY PROHIBITED in the classroom.
6. HONESTY AND INTEGRITY should be observed in ALL academic undertakings.
7. PLAGIARISM (representing other authors ideas as ones own) and CHEATING WILL NOT BE
TOLERATED.
8. Students who failed to submit the final requirements will tagged NYC or NOT YET COMPLETE.
Procedures for completion shall be followed.
Policy on Absences:
1. The allowed number of absences for students is 20% of the total contact hours. Failure to comply with
this requirement merits an FDA or Failure due to Absences. For example, if a student has been
absent for seven (7) meetings for a 1 -hour period per meeting, he/she will be tagged as FDA.
2. The students should be responsible in monitoring their own tardiness and/or absences.
3. They should present an excuse slip with supporting documents (if necessary) once they report back to
class.
4. For excused absences, it is the students responsibility to coordinate and consult with the Instructor.
