Strategies for building a positive relationship with children, colleagues and
families.

When you start being a teacher, the most important thing to do first is building a
positive relationship with everyone around you, especially children, colleagues, and
families. Firstly you need to give them a good first impression about you, by smiling
in their face, talking to them in a kind way. Always give children the space to talk to
you and listen to whatever they want to say, and then comment on what they've
told you but in a gentle way, never harsh talking to them unless they've done
something really bad. Be a friend to them more than a teacher. And with the
colleagues make them your friends talk to them express ideas with them. With
families, always show them that you care about their children, show them the good
things that their children have done in classroom, their paintings, good marks,
creative ideas..etc.
