MLA Formatting
MLA formatting is an essential format that is significantly used in college writing. This
format requires the writer to write the paper with a specific style. For example in the header
section, the student should write his/her last name on the top right corner of the page, followed
by the page number. The font has to be Times New Roman with a 12 point font. The paper
should be double-spaced with no extra spaces between paragraphs. The first line of the
paragraphs should be indented. The margins on MLA papers has to be one inch margins. Also in
MLA formatting, the paper should have a separate page at the end to include citations, this page
its called the Works Cited Page. These are the basic requirements in MLA formatting.
