(Only for use in the BMW trading organisation)
Installation time approx. 1.5 hours
The installation time can vary according to the condition and fittings of the vehicle.

Carry out all maintenance, repair, installation and resetting work on passenger cars on own responsibility.
All operations should be carried out with the aid of the current BMW
repair instructions
circuit diagrams
maintenance manuals
work instructions
diagnostic manuals
in a logical sequence using the prescribed tools (special tools) whilst observing the applicable health and safety
regulations.

Before carrying out the installation, please observe the following:

If specified pins or spaces are already assigned, bridges, double crimpings or parallel connections will have to
be made. All work is represented as on a left-hand drive vehicle. For a right-hand drive vehicle, all work must be
carried out in mirror image.
The installation kit contains no colour-bound equipment components.

Make sure when installing wiring harnesses in the vehicle that they do not get jammed or damaged
and that accessibility to other vehicle parts/components is not impaired.

This system is not coding-relevant.

2 Installation
Note the instructions in Chapter 1.
The usual workshop information provides the basis for accessory installation. Any sequence of steps which depart
from this is described in detail in this chapter.

Preparatory work
Print out error memory
Disconnect battery
Disassemble front passenger seat
Disassemble trim panel under glove box
Disassemble cover strip and heating control
Disassemble sill strip drivers side/front passenger side
Disassemble centre console trim panel in footwell, front passenger side
Disassemble footwell trim panel under instrument panel, front passenger side
Disassemble A-pillar trim panel in footwell, front passenger side.
