Reflection 1

In the first day of the school, I feel nervous but I try to not show
that. When I go into the classroom and I saw the learners I was
happy because the entire student said hi from me and I
become more relax and confident. The teacher was helping me
and she answers my entire question. Also, she gives me a
positive word. In the classroom, I show the teacher that I help
the student in the activity and I put the activity on the table and
I clean up when they finish. In addition, I teach the student for
4 min when the teacher was busy with someone student. Also, I
take from the teacher the schedule and class list and she sands
me in the email the weekly planner and I take her number for
the emergency. It was a long day and lovely day.
Reflection 2

The second day of the school it was interesting and wonderful.


In this task, I recorded the teacher what she does and what the
roles she apply it in the classroom. I was surprised that the
student they respect the roles and they are afraid when the
teacher become sad because they talk and don't lessen the
teacher. I was shocked from the school integrating special
needs students with a natural student. For example, (autism,
blind,). Also, the method of punishment the teacher makes a
list its name my behavior it has a picture of the student and the
teacher put the picture up when the student doing good and
when she put the picture down when they don't follow the
roles or they play when the teacher give him activities. The
punishment is the teacher keep the learner set alone and think
about it why she/he are there what they are doing to keep the
teacher put him in the punishment. I was delighted because the
student cares about the lesson and when they doing well they
come to me and said teacher Marwa can see my work. Also,
when the finish play, activities or finishing eating they clean up
by themselves and they put everything in the right place. In
addition, at the end of the day, the student come and hug me.
Reflection 3

The classroom design and organization is very attractive and


beautiful the classroom now it's not same our class before.
Active learning activities increase the level of learning by
involving children in the learning materials and keep them
thinking of it. There are a lot of activates that improve and
make the students more active for example when they write
her name on the blackboard that makes student develop in fine
motor skills and make them more active. Also, if the classroom
organizer and if have a lot of the activate the student will be
love to learn and will be more active because of the
environment its effect the student. The student can put the
materials essay in the right way because the class is organized
and the class has many centers, for example, math center,
science center and many different centers with a pitcher that
student Know where the to activate. The teacher stores her
papers, materials in the classroom also her table and in the
break, she set in the restroom.
Reflection 4

When we were in the high school we saw our teacher planning


and they told for as to do planning but I do not know why the
planning its important for the teacher. In the practicum, I saw
the teacher doing meeting and planning for the whole week. I
ask myself why the planning is important and was this result. If
we planning the class or the lesson we will be organized and
will save the time. For example, if we dont plan maybe we will
lose the focus and also we will forget the outcome or some
activities. Also, the planning is important because it keeps the
teacher confident when they teach and if someone comes to
the class to see you. All teachers should think before they start
the plan for the learning that there is a different level of the
student so they should do a different level of the activities. In
addition, the teacher should think if those activities are suitable
for children age and brains. For instance, the teacher should be
careful about the scissors, sharp pencil, because the child
maybe will play with that materials and cut her hand. All
teachers should have stages through in order to be ready for
teaching. Firstly, they should do plan for the lesson daily or
weekly. Second, they should know the level of the student and
if there is the student with special needs. And they should have
a different way of teaching if someone not understands. Also,
they should be confident and friendly with the student. Finally,
to be ready for teaching you should organize your work before
one day to not forget anythings.
Reflection 5

On this day I was noticed that some of the students they want
to study and learn new things and others not. In this class,
there are strengths and weaknesses of students. For example,
in all class, there is lower and higher level. The student how's
lower level they don't attend in the class and they are not social
with their friend. And the higher level learns quickly and they
do their activities without help. Also, I noticed those students
which are lower level they talk and play in the class so they
make noise in the class. In addition, I noticed that some of the
student they are not confident because that they become in
lower level. Erikson states that" first psychosocial crisis occurs
during the first year or so of life (like Freud's oral stage of
psychosexual development). The crisis is one of trust vs.
mistrust. During this stage, the infant is uncertain about the
world in which they live. ". I was surprised to form the student
who is in the lower level because some of them are smart but
because they are not confident and they are shy so they did not
communion with the teacher and student.
Reflection 6

Today when I was record the higher level learner I notice that
there is something's common between higher level and lower
level. That both of them they love activities which have
movement and sounds. Also, there are different between them
that the learner in higher level she wants to learn new things
and also she was social with her teacher and students. In
addition, when I ask the learner which are in higher level why
you are study she answer because I want my parents to be
happy and also I want to be like him. "Both Bruner and
Vygotsky emphasise a child's environment, especially the social
environment, more than Piaget did. Both agree that adults
should play an active role in assisting the child's learning."
Finally, I was surprised from higher learner because she is an
only student that she can write her name clearly and without
any help.
Reflection 7

When it was a first day in practicum I was surprised from


classroom management because the class organizes and the
teacher and student are positive. I was record what the teacher
says throughout the day and I notice those students are follow
what the teacher said. For example, when they finish the
activities the teacher said clean up and the entire student clean
and they return the objects in their proper place. In addition,
the teacher gave me advice that is to be friendly but not friend
with the student. Also, I observe the techniques the teacher
used that my behavior list it have a picture of the students the
teacher used if she want the attention from the student. when
the student doing well she put her picture up and if not she put
the picture down and the punishment is that the student set
alone and think about it. There are no learners with a difficult
behavior and if their teacher sat with that student and talk
about it. Finally, the teacher more positive with management
issues because she said that if I become negative that will show
for all day also to the students and then I will not teach well.
Reflection 8

The students spend on one task for 5 10 minute and some


times more if they do not know or if it's hard for them. In
addition, some times when the teacher make an activity the do
it as individually if the teacher want to assessment the student.
Also, sometimes they set as group to enhance the value of
cooperation. Before the teacher gives the student the activity
she makes a review and then she but the activity in the table
and she show the student how to do the activity. The teacher
but the student high level together and lower level together
the teacher instructions checked and walk around the groups. I
ask the student that why they enjoy doing at school they said
that because they meet with friend and one of the student he
said that he come to school because he want to become like
her father and mother. And they love the activities that have
movement and music.
Reflection 9

In this class I was observe the special needs and I was notice
one student that have enclose. The teacher focus in one things
that to keep Ahmad (who's I observe him) that to be social
more than education. There are no class for special needs they
but a normal students with a special needs so he come every
day to the class and there are only one students with special
needs in this class .Ahmad he cannot speak and sometimes he
just say one word. For example, today in math class he said just
for one time four but than he did not said ant things.
Sometimes he spends 3-4 minutes to be attended. The teachers
need to improve her skills and training. For instance, they do
not keep him to feel that they are from special needs also as
we do with other students do with them. Ahmad he loves the
dot for example when we want to keep him writ we do it as
dots. Also, he likes play-doh to do a sheep. The child enjoy in
school because they meet with their friend and they want to be
like their parents. Also, I ask them what they learn they said
how to write and spell our name. The teacher use special
techniques with them, one of these techniques that she shows
for them the word by movement or picture to understand. The
different things between the main teacher and other teacher,
that spends more time with the students. I enjoy in this lesson
that learned new things and the students was very smart and
they say for my welcome.
Reflection 10

In this class I was observe the math and science class and I was
notice the activity and what the students learn from this two
subject. The students study in science the weather (sunny,
rainy, windy) and in the math the numbers from 1-4. And the
students are enjoying in this class because they use a different
activity and they love the song of a numbers because it have
movement. In this class they use a both of language the English
and Arabic because some of times they did not understand also
it hard to learn new things in English. But most of times they
use English because the teacher want from them to improve in
English language.
