1. Reference: Memorandum from CSUPT LEONARD RAMOS BAAGO

(DSC) Regional Director, BFP-NCR dated 12 August 2016 re: Installation of
Dedicated Telephone Lines for Emergency Number 911 on all Central Fire
Stations and Fire Sub-stations Region Wide.

2. ITCON, Pateros Fire Station would like to request for an additional PLDT
line that will be utilized to respond to the new Emergency Hotline 911. Currently
Pateros Fire Station have only one (1) telephone line for all incoming and outgoing
calls and facsimile of communication thereby in one way the other compromising or
limiting access of emergency calls.

3. In view of the above, request funding of another land line in the amount of
One Thousand Three Hundred Fifty Pesos (Php 1,350) monthly charges and a
possible installation fee of One Thousand Five Hundred Pesos (Php 1,500).

4. Request appropriate action.

I. ACTION REQUESTED :

This office respectfully requests ONE (1) PLDT line connection for the use of the Pateros
Municipal Fire Station.

II. BACKGROUND JUSTIFICATION:

Please be informed that Pateros Fire Station would like to request for an additional PLDT
line that will be utilized to respond to the new Emergency hotline 911 which was a directive of
President Rodrigo Roa Duterte to operationalize Emergency hotline 911 program. It was part
of our concern that our current land line number cannot accommodate numerous incoming calls
from the public for various purposes such as inquiry, update with fire safety certification and
interagency calls. The new land line number will be solely utilized to cater fire and other
emergency incoming calls.
