MONTHLY SOCIAL MEDIA SCHEDULE


Week 1
Group Photo -- #FWSCrew
PURPOSE:
To show potential members who Rotary is and what they do.
GROUP PHOTO SUBJECTS:
Meeting attendees
Club and community members at activities and events
Speakers

GUIDELINES:
Upload to Facebook and the website.
Always include a description.
Tag members in the photo.
Use hashtags.

Week 2
Facebook Live Video at Meeting -- #RotaryLive
PURPOSE:
To gain interest and build a connection with viewers.

SUBJECTS:
Speakers
Meeting activities
Club and community members at activities and events

GUIDELINES:
Always include a description.
Tag members in the video.
Use hashtags.
HOW TO USE FACEBOOK LIVE:

1. Click Post and then click on the Live Video button.

2. Add description.

3. Click the Start Live Video button when you are ready to broadcast your
video live. (You are now showing the world what Rotary Fort Worth South
is all about live!)

4. You will know your video is broadcasting live by the Red Box with the word LIVE appearing in the
top left corner.

5. When you are done, tap on the Finish button at the bottom right corner
of your screen.

6. Now click the Post button and the video will be automatically saved to
your Facebook page for people to view later.

7. Congratulations! You have now used Facebook Live - a tool for shooting live

broadcasts without the need for any fancy equipment or news rooms!
Week 3
Member Spotlight Q & A -- #Spotlight
PURPOSE:
To build a relationship with social media followers and show your clubs personality and diversity.
GUIDELINES:
Focus on one member each week.
Make a video of the interview.
Include a description of the video.
Use hashtags.

SAMPLE QUESTIONS:
Name and Age
Where do you work?
Where are you from?
How long have you been a Rotarian? When did you join?
What is your favorite part about being a Rotarian?
What is your favorite service project?
If you could choose any speaker to come to a meeting, who would it be and why?
What is an interesting fact about you that your fellow Rotarians don't know about you?
Do you have any advice for new members?
What is your current, past, or dream career?
How has the Fort Worth South Rotary Club helped you in your career?
When you aren't working, where do you like to spend your free time?
What are three words to describe Rotary?

What are three career lessons you've learned thus far?

Week 4
#RFF Rotary Friends Forever Post
PURPOSE:
Focus on the friendships and relationships that have resulted from or been strengthened by Rotary.
GUIDELINES:
Make a video
Include a description. (1-2 sentence summary of those being interviewed)
Example: Gary and Larry have been members of #RotaryFWS for 15 years. While serving the
community together theyve developed a friendship only fellow Rotarians could understand.
Tag the subjects in the video.
Use hashtags.
