Inherit The Dream Scholarship Application
Eligibility:
 An annual scholarship in the amount of $1,000 will be awarded to a senior student who attends a
Kent Intermediate School and is involved in community service and/or activities in support of diversity and inclusion.
Students must be accepted to Grand Rapids Community College with a minimum of 2.0 grade point average.
Application must be accompanied by a high school grade transcript that must include six semesters with
cumulative GPA.
Scholarship awarded to students of African American or Hispanic Heritage.

1. Please fill out information requested below and on the back side of this sheet.
2. Please submit a typed one page essay: Why A College Education Is Important To Me.
3. Please attach a written letter of recommendation.
4. Application must be received by December 15 and returned to:

for students attending GRCC. All scholarships are for full-time students carrying 12 credits or more. This is not a financial aid
application. It is recommended that you also apply for financial aid by submitting a Free Application for Federal Student Aid
(FAFSA), and request that a copy be sent to Grand Rapids Community College.
