RESOURCE DESCRIPTION
Give a brief description of the technology/resource.

ShowMe allows you to create presentations by using pictures and voice recordings. There is also a whiteboard option that allows
you to write and do a voice over at the same time. There are previously created ShowMe presentations by subject and standard.
This presentation tool allows you to create student accounts and study groups.

INTEGRATION IDEA - PRESENTATION

How might you use this resource in a lesson plan to promote students presentation/speaking/communication skills?

I would do a lecture using Show Me then present it to the class. I would let them know that they can use this tool as well to create
their own presentations or to show me how they do their work for a certain problem. They could also use this tool to ask
questions from home and I would be able to respond with another ShowMe. This presentation tool would allow the students who
are not comfortable with public speaking to do a presentation without physically having to stand in front of the class. Since you
can add photos to your ShowMe it would allow students to communicate through a visuals rather than having to write things
down.

VALUE-ADDED EXPLANATION
Based on the value-added rating scale above, how would you rate the technology integration you described, using the
selected resource?
Explain your rating based on the rubric indicators.

I would rate this presentation tool a 2. I think the students would find it beneficial to have their notes posted online with a voice
over in case they missed or forgot something in class. This tool could be used by both the teacher and the students. The kids
would have a fun time making their own ShowMes and its a good alternative to having to do oral presentations.
