Brief instructions The first thing one must do is create an account on the website. Once the
of how to use the account is created multiple students can type in the same document at
tool once, in a manner not unlike google docs.
Ideas for how the 1.13c) Revise by adding descriptive words when writing about people,
tool can be used places, things,
in PK-12 and events.

1.13d) Use complete sentences in final copies.

1.13e) Begin each sentence with a capital letter and use ending
punctuation in final

copies.

To be completely honest, all of these are somewhat intertwined. The main

idea is that students can collaborate on this website to improve on all three
of these standards. For example, they can point out when another student
forgets to capitalize a sentence. They can also help each other make sure
they are using complete sentences and proper grammar. My end goal
would be for them to write a story together.
Positives and Positives: Online, so its easy for students to do assignments together
challenges of outside of school. Free, so students from lower SES families wont have
using the tool to worry about paying for it.. Easy to access, in that it is pretty easy to get
onto which is good if students are doing an assignment from home. Also
available in app form, which is good for students that may not have a
computer but can access a smartphone or tablet.
Negatives: Have to create an account, which can be difficult for young
children, to the point that a parent may need to do it for them. It is not
very intuitive, which could be a problem for students using it without
teacher guidance. Finally, its not particularly visually pleasing, which
could be problematic in getting kids to focus.
