1500 applications received to date
2 sessions of Pre-deployment trainings held in Abuja and Equatorial
Guinea
Trained 205 from 36 AU Member States and from the Diaspora
55 deployed as at September 30
30 ongoing deployment arrangement for final departure by October

Unmet request from Member States reached 1,100 (South Sudan
alone 1,000)
Cost of the AUYVC= Monthly stipend $500; Medical and Health
Insurance, Initial settlement allowance; Travel ticket to and from
home country
