My rules will be followed by the students, alongside of the school districts rules.

Rules Consequences

The Golden Rule Bullying will absolutely not be tolerated in the classroom, or on

Treat other the campus, in any form. The student will apologize to the student

way you want to be affected in person and with a handwritten letter. The student will also

treated receive a call home in order to explain to the parent or guardian that

bullying is not tolerated within or outside of school. Depending on the

offense, the student has the possibility of going to the office to talk to

the principal.

Take control of Students that refuse to put in effort into their work or remain

your own learning unfocused in class will only hurt themselves. Not graduating high

Respect the Students during classroom discussions will respect their peers

opinions of others, opinion, even if it completely contradicts their own. This includes

even if you do not interrupting or being disrespectful towards their peers. The first

agree offense will include a warning, the second offense will include a

discussion with the teacher about behavior and the third offense will

be an apology letter or depending on the intensity of the offense, a call

home.

Theres no I in Students when working in groups must contribute on an equal level.

in a zero from the individuals that choose not to participate.

Check yourself Students must make sure to have their supplies for class prepared

before you wreck shortly after they walk into the room. Coming to class prepared will

yourself minimize distractions. If the student regularly comes to class

unprepared, a lunch detention will be issued.

Diverse Learners

Diverse learners of all types will be able to follow each of my rules because they focus

more on behavior and how it affects academics. For example, one of my rules prompts students

to take control of their own learning by coming to class prepared, not distracting themselves or

others and by implementing effort and focus throughout their academics. All these aspects

regarding students taking control of their own learning prosper when the student showcases a

positive work ethic, which is flexible enough to be displayed within any learning style. My

flexible rules with adhere to every type of student because I understand that every student is

different.

Connection to Philosophy of Education

Within my philosophy of education, I explain the importance of respecting peers when in

the position of a student. All of my classroom rules revolve around the idea of respect and its

different forms. Respect within my classroom comes in the form of the student respecting their

peers, the educators on campus and themselves. Students should understand what is acceptable

with respect to student talk, how to contact the teacher for help, when movement about the room

is permitted, and how to ask questions or volunteer an answer or comment. (Emmer and

Evertson, 2006, p.100). My rules are flexible enough to reach every type of learner because no

matter how an individual learns, respect towards themselves and others should be prominent.
