Class, study the picture. What does it show?
2. Presentation/Discussion
What is the difference between hot and cold
appetizers?
Give an example of hot and cold appetizers.
- In this lesson, each one of you will be able to perform on how to
prepare a hot and cold appetizer. But before you perform, I am going
to demonstrate first to you a type of hot appetizer that is what we
called a hotdog roulade.

Steps In Preparing Hot Appetizer (Hotdog Roulade)
Prep. Time: 10mins.
Tools:
o knife
o chopping board
o Colored toothpick
o Oven
o Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Ingredients:
o Jumbo Hotdog
o Bacon Rasher
o Quick melt cheese, slice length hotdog size
Procedure:
o Slit hotdog vertically almost half inch deep. Insert slice of cheese.
Wrap hotdog with bacon rasher and fastened both ends with
picks. Arrange in a tray and bake until done. Serve.
- Ok class, heres our hotdog roulade. A very quick and simple hot
appetizer that you can make in any occasion you have at home or in any
places. Did you follow?
