As a nursing student at the University of Arizonas College of Nursing, I would like to be

considered for a nursing position at Banner University Medical Center after completing this
nursing program. The experiences Ive acquired at various hospitals throughout Tucson and my
native Spanish speaking skills will help me be a great addition to the healthcare team. My current
skill set is tailored to that of the BUMC nurse, with a patient focused mindset and a dynamic set
of nursing skills.

I am interested in working in the progressive care unit at any of the Banner locations in Tucson.
This specific unit has drawn my attention because it relies heavily on patient centered care while
incorporating families into every important decision. Throughout my experience at the College
of Nursing, Ive acquired the knowledge necessary to provide excellent care for patients of all
ages and with an array of different physiologic conditions. I strongly believe with the educational
experience Ive gained at the College of Nursing at the University of Arizona, I will be able to
provide excellent care while expanding my knowledge base in the clinical setting. I plan on
staying in Tucson and continuing my education by acquiring different certifications to provide
the absolute best patient care.

My devotion and enthusiasm to continue learning after nursing school is a quality that makes me
a perfect applicant. I am looking forward to future meetings with you to discuss how I would
benefit Banner University Medical Center.
