ABSTRACT

The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between food attributes and customers
satisfaction towards fast food restaurant in Puncak Alam. The primary objective of this study of
this study is to identify factor that lead to the customers satisfaction. This study will conducted
with quantitatively, in which cluster sampling method will use to collect the data. The personally
administrated questionnaire will conducted to collect respondent feedback through the use of the
questionnaire instrument and the finding will analyzed using the Statistic package for Social
science (SPSS). Four food attribute (price, portion, service quality and ambience) will test and
result of this study will prove that relationship between food attribute and customer satisfaction.

FUTURE RESEACH

Based on my research proposal about study on the international student satisfaction toward fast
food restaurant in Puncak Alam has several factor that need to improve in planning future
research. If future research wants study on the same thing with the same food attributes to
measure satisfaction level the scope of the study need to be more biggers to get more sample size
size. This is because in my proposal research we only focused on the international student in
UiTM Puncak Alam that only has small population here.

Other than that, there are several weakness in only focusing in international student in UiTM
Puncak Alam such as only smallest number of fast food restaurant that operate in Puncak Alam,
international student more likely dine in cafeteria in resident area and transportation problem to
visit fast food restaurant because of fast food distance very far from campus. The entire problem
towards international student makes this research make weak results.

In addition, for the future plan for this research is need the massive improvement from the aspect
research area, sample size and international student group target. For the research area n my
research proposal the researcher choose Puncak Alam which is has smallest number of fast food
restaurant, it better than choose a new area or expand the research area such as add Klang for the
research area. This is can because the international student are easier to dine in fast food in Klang
or Shah Alam area because easy to get public transportation access. Besides that, the
combination of the research place or new place is compulsory because other place that have extra
outlet can get more good result because them also compare the service in the area first before the
international student compare with fast food restaurant in their country.

The more, in my research proposal also need to increase in the population and sample size. This
is because in Puncak Alam we only have small population for the international student. For the
future research I will focus on the new place for example UiTM Shah Alam because there have
more international student rather than Puncak Alam campus. The more sample size will produce
better finding.
