Homework:
Problem Sets will be posted weekly on Carmen. No late assignments will be
accepted without prior arrangements. You are encouraged to work together on
the assignments, but each student must submit his/her own copy of the
assignment. Due to the large number of students enrolled, your grade may be
determined by a subset of the assigned problems for any particular assignment.

Exams:
Exams are closed book. You will be allowed a single note sheet, 8.5 by 11 for
each exam, back and front, hand written or printed. You will be allowed a
calculator. No internet-enabled devices are permitted.

Missed exams:
Any missed exam will result in a zero grade unless arrangements are made in
advance. Suitable circumstances include illness, death in the immediate family,
and situations of comparable gravity. In such cases, if and only if arrangements
are made in advance, a make-up exam can be arranged. Midterms dates are
announced well in advance, so plan your job interviews and such around them.

Final Exam:
Monday April 28, 6:00-7:45pm

Reaching me: You may reach me during office hours, or make an appointment by
email if you cannot make my office hours.
