Exercise 4:

To adapt this information for employees rather than employers, the sign should list instructions that
apply to the employees directly. It should be talking in a direct tone and should be giving obvious steps
in ensuring the cleanliness of all their employees. Simply put, the information would have to be directed
to the right audience instead of having the tone and setting directed to the employers. For instance,
instead of stating the health benefits that washing the hands have, the sign would have to be more
authoritative and tell the employee that they must wash their hands, regardless of the reasons. After
that, the sign then could give good reasons for washing hands as a method of encouragement.
