DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT Evaluators Input:
The t Introduction

Prodigies are usually defined as kids who have professional abilities before age 10, and those abilities

are most often in the rule-based fields of music, mathematics, art, and chess. Prodigies are born, not made: these

children receive praise from people due to their extraordinary talent and skills.

This documentary will feature the child prodigies that Tarlac Province is proud of. This will emphasize

the point-of-view of each prodigies about the new rising social problem which is Smart shaming -- act of

shaming others for being smarter than the others.

This documentary will show that these days, a portion of the Filipinos appear to see being smart as a

negative attribute. Instead of accepting that someone knows something they dont, they would downgrade

themselves without knowing that they are actually humiliating the one they are talking to. That is why there

were reports that child prodigy prone to suicidal tendencies and gain performance anxiety due to certain attitude.

Psychology will be included. Mrs. Nia Marie Y. Magcalas, a psychologist in Healthcore Diagnostics Center,

St. Jude, will be interviewed regarding the behavior of these prodigies.

This documentary is interesting because it does not only tackle about the perception of people regarding

the child prodigies but also how these prodigies feel of themselves based on what people percept them relating

to Smart shaming.
