When Life Gives You Lemons

Ask for salt and tequila!!!

We have been hearing about young, educated, financially stable, physically fit people committing suicides.
A mom takes her life because the son could not pass an exam, a teenage girl kills herself because she was
scared of Maths. A well-known business man jumps off the sea-link because he is heavily in debt. Father
kills his children as he wont be able to take care of them during their mothers illness. A young girl jumps
from a high building as her marriage to her sweet heart faces opposition from family

What is common between all these people? These people all had one single emotion Hopelessness. They
were ashamed and feared the set-back. These people were depressed.

Part of living and growing up is experiencing unexpected troubles in life. Only the strong survive!

The salt and tequila of life:

No matter how chaotic the past has been, the future is a clean, fresh, wide open slate.
Focus on what you have, not on what you couldnt get.
Find one POSITIVE thought that inspires and helps you move forward.
Cry if you need to its healthy to shed your tears
Every moment you get is a gift. Dont waste time by dwelling on unhappy things.
Doing something and getting it wrong is better than doing nothing. Every situation in our lives has
a lesson to teach us. Take the lesson.
Feelings change, people change, and time keeps rolling. Nothing is permanent.
Dont make the mistake of waiting for happiness from someone, something. True happiness comes
from within.
You are far greater than your problems. Dont make a problem bigger than it is.
If you dont get a job that you wanted or a relationship doesnt work, it only means something
better is out there waiting.
There comes a point when you get tired of chasing everyone and trying to fix everything It is
completely OK to Move On.
Grudges are a waste of happiness. Get that unnecessary stress out of your life.
Everyone has problems and you still have a lot to be thankful for.
Not getting what you want is sometimes a wonderful stroke of good luck, because it forces you
reevaluate things, opening new doors to opportunities and information you would have otherwise
overlooked.
Stay positive, good things and good people will be drawn to you.
When you catch yourself comparing yourself to a colleague, neighbor, friend, or someone famous, stop!
Realize that you are different, with different strengths strengths these other people dont possess. Take a
moment to reflect on all the awesome abilities that you have.
You cant control everything that happens to you. But you can decide to react or respond to
situations
You always have a choice. No matter what, there are always at least two options.
