A.) Coverage of Industry


Networld Hotel Spa and Casino is a 3 star class hotel located in Roxas Blvd. cor.
Sen. Gil Puyat Ave. Pasay City, Metro Manila. They have specific place for Spa service
inside the hotel, its called SM Senko Spa, Manilas first authentic Japanese health spa,
for you and your family. SM Kenkos Signature Massage: Sparomatherapy (One Hour
Massage plus Sauna). They also have Dry Sauna and Steam Room inside the hotel.

B.) Limitations
One of their limitations is the capacity of people since the hotel is not that big to
accommodate several customers during peak season. They also having problem
during peak seasons wherein they can not accommodate all room reservations .

C.) Research on competitors


One of the biggest competitor for them as of today are Wensha Spa located in
Magdalena Jalandoni St, Pasay, Metro Manila and the 5 star hotels in Manila. Wensha
Spa also offer Japanese health spa, steam room, and sauna and Wensha Spa can
handle several customers due to their facilities. They also offer buffet to all their
customers. Lastly, the 5 stars hotels in Manila and Pasay since they have the capacity
for big demand on room reservations and they offer a lot of promos for their
competitive pricing.

Industry Description
This 3 - Star hotel specializes in catering for purposes both in business and leisure.
It accommodates for customers who are either on a business venture, casual family trip,
or even both. It considers itself to be a perfect blend of western and eastern culture.
The employees working at the hotel are trained to deal with people from both the
western and eastern part. The hotel also has a free airport - to - hotel trips for thee
customers convenience. It is located along the sides of Roxas Boulevard, considered to
be the heart of the metro.
Franchising/Retailing
In order to increase the hotels publicity, we decided to market the hotel itself
and the benefits it can give. Since Network Hotel is known to accommodate for both
local and foreign customers, we can acquire from the CEO the list of customers
checking in the hotel by nationality. This is to check the customers background and for
us to predict what to showcase in the brochure. Afterwards, we can further acquire
from the CEO what do the customers usually do when they check - in the hotel, such as
immediately checking in and staying in their assigned rooms, or checking in and then
leaving their belongings. During this time, we can ask other information such as what
meals and delicacies do they serve, as well as their different forms of entertaining their
customers. From there, we can put all the gathered data from the CEO on a brochure.
The brochure would generally come in English, but can be customized based on where
will it be marketed. Afterwards, we will place the brochures in the public in order for
potential customers to see.

Rationale
Marketing the hotel is the best way to gain publicity and eventually popularity
among the people. Even people who are not part of the companys target would get
enticed and would be compelled to pay the hotel a visit and stay. Not only that, but
the hotel can further increase their revenues. Retailing the hotels services can also
increase the chances of finding companies who would want to form a partnership and
sponsorship from other companies and industries.

Answers:
1.) We have Hotel Complimentary Airport Shuttle Service starting from 3:30am to 11:00am,
a rate of Php 800.00 Roundtrip Airport Transfers will be charged for trips not included on the
above schedule; Php 400.00 for one-way transfer. For dining, 2 of our hotels well-loved in-
house brands, Le Amoretto Caf and Bar, and Kaishu Restaurant serving an astounding variety
of more than 300 Japanese dishes. We also have Spa services, Manilas first authentic
Japanese health spa and other services like foot services, facial, foot spa. Lastly, our Hotel
Casino
2.) One of the limitations that i can see is the capacity of our hotel to accommodate all room
reservations and large number of customers since we only have 89 rooms available and our
Hotel Spa is not that big compare to other Spa business in Pasay City.

3.) We can consider every hotels in Manila and Pasay as our competitors especially 5 star
hotels since most of the customers and travelers from abroad prefer big hotels. When it comes
to our Spa Services we consider Wensha Spa located in Pasay City as our big competitor
because of their capacity to accept large number of customers and they also have japanese
health spa services.

4.) We consider them as a threat because they affected our sales for the last 5 years especially
the 5 star hotels constructed in Pasay City namely City of Dreams and Solaire.
