Justification
1- I have received MST and MCT feedback that said I should work on my time management more
to prioritize learning objectives and I also believe that good time management is essential for
better teaching practice and this is reinforced by Francis (2005).
2- Having structured and well-timed routines and activities can help the students to learn more in a
lesson and be prepared to learn during specific activities.
3- When some activities are mistimed or go for too long, students can easily get bored and thus
not get the most out of an activity.
Implementation
1- I will put well-timed short routines which helps to structures the lesson and manage the
learning. For example, asking about the day and the date followed by a short review for the last
lesson.
2- I will focus on putting the exact time for each activity in my lesson plan.
3- I will keep track of the time I spend on each activity by timer to make sure this matches what I
have put into my lesson plan.
Evidence
- Lesson Plans and Lesson Reflections.
- MST Feedback.
1- Lesson plan:
Activity Time
2- Lesson reflection:
I had to teach this lesson for 4 classes. So I had to repeat it. Unfortunately with the first class
the time wasnt as planned. The reviewing activity took too long. So at the other classes I
shortened the review task and it was a great lesson that the time was as planned for so it met
the lesson objectives and the students was exited, they didnt get bored.
3- MCT and MST Feedback:
