Assessment Feedback / Referral Action Plan:

(Only one further opportunity will be given for submission of work that has been deemed unsatisfactory at the time of assessment)
You have completed a lot of research within your portfolio, which is of a satisfactory standard. But you have not
uploaded a detailed research plan this needs more work. It needs to outline exactly what you plan to do and WHY
you plan to do it. What did you want to achieve. It doesnt matter if the actual outcome was not quite how you wanted
as this sort of project can lead you in any direction. The most important aim is that you planned out what you wanted
to do. You have designed and carried out a survey for primary research, which collected 16 responses, this is a
reasonable number, but in future research aim for a much bigger number. You analyse your responses well and give
good reasoning and theories to your responses. You could have used more questions in your survey. In future
research try to use more open questions, such as what, why, when how, where and who. You make some good use
of qualitative research, but you need to do more with quantitative research, which is looking at the data collected.
What does the data tell you, if anything? What other quantitative questions could you ask to get more statistical
figures? Your secondary research is fine, you have analysed its use well. I like the idea of developing a documentary
on How YouTube has changed peoples lives. There is a short evaluation, but not enough to pass the unit. It needs to
be more detailed. Ask yourself how you performed. How pleased are you with your performance? What more could
you have done to improve the outcome? Overall, you are nearly there, you just need to do a few more hours work to
get over the finish line. I feel you are on the right track, you just need to spend some undistracted time focusing on the
points made in this feedback.
Resubmission (24/11/2017):
You have completed all tasks asked of you Dewi, well done. I am now satisfied you have covered all criteria required and
therefore you have passed this unit.
