CORNPRO 232 (CORN GLUTEN)

Corn gluten is a premium quality basic commodity containing concentrated protein, used for the feeding of livestock, fish and animals kept as
pets (dogs, cats).

Gluten is one of the main components of corn. It is obtained from the corn during moist processing. Due to its useful properties, corn gluten is
eminently suitable for a number of purposes: its high methionine content (essential amino acid 2.4 g/100 g protein) enables the amino acid
composition of other generally used protein carriers (e.g. soya meal) to be supplemented. The low ash, potassium and sodium content of the
product, as well as its natural yellow colour (thanks to its approx. 160 ppm content of xanthophylls, which have antioxidant properties), also
provide excellent opportunities for usage.

The easy digestibility, low mineral and non-allergenic protein content of corn gluten enable its use in a wide range of premium quality feedstuff
base materials.
Corn gluten in the feeding of ruminant animals (milch cows)

In order for cows capable of high daily milk production to achieve peak output, they must obtain the necessary protein and energy from
excellent quality feed. Corn gluten naturally contains a significant proportion of bypass protein (74%) and digestible energy (13.6 MJ/kg), which
promote a high milk yield as well as the achievement of milk protein ratio in high production cows.
Corn gluten in the feeding of poultry

Corn is a basic component of poultry feeds. Corn gluten is an excellent source of amino acids (chiefly outstanding with regard to methionine
and cysteine content), providing protein and energy as a component of ready feeds. Besides this it naturally contains yellow pigment
(xanthophylls), which is a useful component of broiler and layer feeds, colouring the final products and thus making them more marketable. Its
low potassium and sodium content restricts excessive hydration of broiler chickens and turkeys in a natural way.
Corn gluten in the feeding of pigs

Due to its prominent digestible energy content, as well as low sodium and potassium, gluten is an excellent source of amino acids (chiefly
outstanding with regard to methionine and cysteine content), providing protein and energy as a component of ready feeds. Due to its easy
digestibility, it is an ideal component of piglet and porket feeds.
Corn gluten in the feeding of fish

Fish require feed with a high protein and energy content. Due to its high protein content, fish meal is traditionally the main component of this
type of feeds. The availability of fish meal, however, has not been able to keep up with the growth in demand for concentrated proteins.
Feedstuff experts have found in corn gluten an alternative source of protein and energy, with the help of which a balanced inner content of fish
feeds can be guaranteed. Besides salmon and trout, it is also found in high proportion in the feeds for other sea fish (bass, bream).
Corn gluten in the feeding of pets (dogs, cats)

Well balanced quality feeding for dogs and cats is extremely important. Their requirement for protein and energy typically exceeds that of
livestock, whereas their mineral substance requirement is very specific (particularly for cats). Corn gluten contains quality protein, which due to
both its amino acid composition and its physical properties, enables it to be used as a basic commodity in dog and cat foods. The methionine
found in prominent proportion in the amino acid composition of gluten protein not only plays a role in digestion, but also gives the animals fur
a healthy, shiny appearance. The low mineral substance content, the lack of anti-nutritive effect in the product and its natural bright colour
make it an indispensible constituent of tinned foods as well as feedstuffs for land-animal pets.

CORNGOLD 232, 234, 236 (CGF)

With its natural protein, energy and fibre content, CGF feedstuff is a basic commodity which plays an important role in the feeding of
ruminants, pigs, poultry and pets.

During starch production by the moist processing of corn, after separation of the larger proportion of the starch, the corn germs and the corn
gluten, CGF is the remaining source of protein, energy, vitamins and mineral substances which can be economically utilised for feedstuff
purposes. The CGF is marketed as moist or dry powder and in pellet form.

CGF in the feeding of ruminants

Dry CGF is a cost-effective, flexible alternative to cereals when making up ruminant premixes and feedstuffs. Moist CGF is suitable for the
preparation of excellent quality silo feeds either by itself or together with other green feedstuffs. Thanks to the natural fibre, protein and
energy content, the CGF promotes the digestion processes taking place in the rumen.
CGF also has additional glycogen and aminogen components which promote the production of good quality milk in cows. The glycogen
materials are transformed into lactose which raises the milk yield, whilst the aminogen constituents play a role in milk protein synthesis.

CGF in the feeding of pigs

Natural fibre plays a prominent role in feedstuffs for pigs, promoting the development of the intestinal flora necessary for healthy digestion.
The natural fibre found in CGF, supplemented with the starch, protein, mineral substance and vitamin content of the basic commodity, can be
an effective component of porket and sow feeds.

CGF in the feeding of poultry

Corn is a basic component of poultry feeds. CGF is a cost-effective alternative for providing the starch, protein and fibre contents of quality
poultry feeds.

CGF in the feeding of pets (dogs)

CGF is a basic commodity rich in mineral substances which, supplemented with its natural and good quality fibre content, makes it an excellent
constituent of dog foods. Due to its natural yellow-light brown colour, it is also a favourite base material for coloured dry feeds.

CORNGERM 232 (CORN GERM)

Corn germ contains natural vegetable oil, and is thus an excellent energy source for the feeding of poultry, ruminants, pigs and pets.

The corn germ is separated out from the corn grains by physical means during the first phase of starch production by moist processing. The
separated germ contains approximately 42% easily manageable oil, which may become an important constituent of animal feedstuffs. The oil
content of the product is bound to the germ fibre, which prevents the oil leaking out of the ready feed pellets.
Corn germ in the feeding of ruminants

For cows with high milk yield, meeting their high energy and protein requirements efficiently is a key issue. Animals with an annual 5000-6000
litre milk yield profit directly from the bypass energy and protein found in feedstuffs. The natural bypass oil content of corn germ helps with the
exploitation of the production capacity of high potential cows and prevents the fall in output resulting from the development of an energy
deficient state.
Corn germ in the feeding of poultry

Poultry feeds must have a high energy content, corresponding to the needs of the stock to be fed. Providing the appropriate dosage of fat or oil
is not necessarily an easy task. The use of corn germ is an obvious way of guaranteeing the needed oil and energy levels for poultry feeds.
Corn germ in the feeding of pigs

Besides its high vegetable oil and unsaturated fatty acid content, corn germ is used for feeding pigs also due to its natural, easily digestible
fibre. The energy content of the feeds can be increased simply by using germ.
Corn germ in the feeding of pets

Besides its nutrient content, the usage of corn germ is also preferred due to its beneficial effect on the animals coat when producing feeds for
our favourite pets.
