Construction stages and description of AirHull eco 25

The choice of quality materials and reliable partner-suppliers is essential for all
high-tech ventures and every detail matters

Our principle in AirHull is that, for the construction of a vessel we must only use
materials of the best quality with no compromise on comfort, functionality and
safety. Our permanent staff has 20 years experience in boat construction and at
the manufacturing process of GRP - PVC materials and resin infusion, meeting
all industry standards and specifications.

We only use Isophtalic polyester resins, a key element for the structural
strength of the vessel. For all structural materials we use well established
European providers with high standards in quality control.

All construction phases are carried out in our premises, in order to ensure and
guarantee the absolute quality control of the manufacturing process and the
final product.

The construction begins with a well-polished mold. The mold is waxed to

achieve a smooth and flawless surface. Once prepared, it is sprayed with high
quality Gel Coat which ensures a shinny finish, high resistance to osmosis,
elasticity and protection from UV radiation. It also determines the color of the
vessel.

Hulls are coated with eight different layers of fiberglass mat and knitwear, each
lined by hand. Double thickness materials are applied to the keel and spray
rails. As an option Kevlar reinforcements can be added in selected spaces for
additional resistance to impact. Of course for demanding customers, a full
Kevlar hull is offered, resulting to a lightweight boat with excellent
characteristics in speed, performance and economy.

The polymerization of the resin starts at least 14 hours after all materials are
put in place and special reinforcements are made to the stern.

Wood and plywood are not used. They are completely replaced by PVC
closed cell foam which offers very low weight, zero water absorption and
resistance to corrosion. The foam which is used has a density between 75 and
300 kg/m3 and is 7 times more durable than wood.

Then the prefabricated longitudinal reinforcements made from GRP (Stringers)

are put in place. A special way of knitting the glass cloth is used to maximize
tension resistance; the keel and the stern are reinforced once more for further
strength. The drainage pipes are placed inside the hull; watertight
compartments are created in the stern of the vessel and the tubes that will
accommodate electric and plumbing are put in place. Finally the hull is painted
in the inside with 2 coats of Top Coat.

Mount for Electric Winch:

Then it is time for the electric winch mount to be installed in the hull. This
method ensures a solid structure as all forces from the winch are carried out at
the hull and not the deck.

Deck:

Deck attachment to the hull is made while the hull is still at the mold. Special
epoxy resins are used and all adjacent parts of hull and deck are thoroughly
glued from the inside. Then, Top Coat paint is applied for a second time to
finalize the interior color. After 18 days the materials have been fully
polymerized and it is time for the hull to be detached.

Quality control is constant, during all construction phases. The process while
layers of polyester are applied is controlled in terms of proportions, temperature
of the resin the rate of catalyst and the curing time of the polyester. These rules
ensure maximum durability and resistance for AirHull vessels. Pre-installed
pipes make the wiring of the boat an easy process. It is safer and a great help
in case of repairs. All mounting screws and materials used are exclusively Inox
A4 type.

Fuel Tanks:

The tanks are securely mounted inside the hull beneath the position of the
governor. They meet all safety standards and are manufactured with Inox St
304, thickness 2 mm. The construction includes negative ground and 2 inox
diaphragms, (GTAW). They are made by Dais Inox. The relief valves are placed
high on the transom with 16mm hose. The study for the installation of the fuel
filling slot 50mm ensures fast and safe refueling.

Hull:

The hull uses an international patent (Patent 5199773A) and is constructed with
the new method named as "Dimpled & stepped Hull. It consists of 2.460
Dimples with negatively charged spray rails (3 on each side) and 2 steps. The
entry angle at the bow is about 52 degrees and the dead rise comes in 24.5
degrees. All wood components found in other constructions have been replaced
by PVC foam.

Deck:

At the bow we can easily see the special mount accommodating the 5 Kg
stainless steel anchor. In front there is a towing handgrip for pulling the boat.
The upper section features a non-slip rubber surface for safe entry and exit of
the vessel. It is also equipped with safety interlocks and seals around with
silicone rubber. Beneath the lid are the place for the electric anchor winch and
the chain for the anchor. "Up & Down" buttons of the electric winch are fitted
along with the water tank filler and the type Led for lighting the area of the
anchor. Right and left are located the bow cleats. Around the bow entry we find
protective recesses for safer crossing.

1st Storage space:

The front storage compartment has a security lock, silicon rubber gasket and a
led light. It is a continuous space with the second storage compartment. It is
possible to divide them upon request.

2nd Storage space:

The second storage compartment is also equipped with security lock, an led
interior light and 2 30mm pipes for quick drainage, extremely helpful when
cleaning the storage. Also available online with 2 tubes F30 to remove the water
when the wash-house. Both lids have a non-slip surface (Antiskid) if we do not
use pads and hydraulic lift system.

In the same area between the front storage and the driving console, there are
connectors for the extension of the front sun bed. Extension is stored at a
special slot located in the rear storage compartment. If fully extended the front
bed is 195cm length x 150cm width.

Moving around the deck we will see the anti-slip surface as well the
perimetrically placed groove to collect the minimum water. At the rear section
there are 2 non-return draining valves 50.Deck is self-draining even if the
vessel is fully loaded.

Driving console:

It is located in the center of the boat measuring 130cm height x95cm width x
130cm length, with WC provision. The drivers seat is on the left side providing
direct inspection of the instruments. Everything is fitted into slots which are
self-draining. Depending on the engine, console is modified for the proper
installation of the engine instruments. Four inox handgrips are ideally placed for
use by captain and co-captain.

For seated driving, footrests are built-in the driving console, covered with slip-
resistant surface. Control switches are ideally placed, allowing the control of the
batteries and Accessories, the valve for switching the fuel tanks and 2 slots for
charging mobile phones and portable devices. The console door has power
assisted opening and a silicone rubber gasket, an integrated seat with handles,
a small storage space and a lock.

Door opening width is 50cm and height 90cm. At the interior a toilet can be
installed along with a second shower. The interior height of the console is 175cm
and the interior is self-draining. Right and left of the console there are led lights,
two ventilation slots and 2 portholes for natural lighting at the WC area.

Double family seat:

The dimensions are 80cm height x 90cm width x 36cm wide. A dual support
mechanism allows for individual adjustments in three different positions. When
flatted, they allow driving while seated. The pads are constructed in such a way
as to provide lateral support. Inside the seat is storage space. The back support
has a pillow while it can be used as a handrail for the rear passengers. At the
back of the seat, a foldable table (63cmX26cm) is fitted with a hydraulic
mechanism that ensures stability in both cases (open and closed). On the left
side there is a slot for the secure placement of the extinguisher and an
additional control of the sound source. The fuel filling slot is installed on the
right with 2 air vents. The upper cabinet is secured with 2 safety interlocks and
the lid of the seat is internally covered (double mold is used). The front section
is arc-shaped to follow the inclination of our feet in an upright driving.

Bucket Seats:

(Upon request-standard on the 25S)

They have hydraulic suspension system with dual-type damper Block o lift shock
absorber. For an upright driving board seat descends to the lowest level. There
is also a height adjustment according to the commander, copilot. The left seat
has a slot for the fire extinguisher while the right plugs for filling gasoline. Both
seats have handles cast type for the support of the rear passengers as well as
two storage compartments. They are designed in such a way as to provide full
lateral support and cushioning to protect the waist. The R-25 seat is a
collaboration of AirHull with Dais Inox and is designed solely for its vessels.

Stern:

The rear bench accommodates 4 people. Under the seats is a 55 liter built-in ice
refrigerator self-draining with a provision for electrical mechanism. Right and
left are storage spaces. In front of the couch we can found a hidden reception,
that allows the development of a bed 70CM width and overall length of 2.00 m.
A hydraulic support is also offered.

The rear sundeck is 95cm wide with an overall length of 210cm. Under the deck,
there is a storage space that accommodates the electric bilge, part of the
electrical installation and the shower pump. The lid has Antiskid surface, silicone
rubber gasket and hydraulic assist.

In the back right side of the boat there is installed the bracket for the auxiliary
engine for fast and easy use. All cables and wiring for both engines are driven
through a special hose placed next to the bracket.

On the left side we can see the storage for the second anchor and the shower.
Further back is the retractable swim ladder. The lids of the stairs and Anchor
have nonslip rubber and protective countryside to avoid accidents. Around the
stern sofa there are formed two access lanes.

A special effort has been made, in all parts of the vessel, to avoid protruding
bolts and hinges, even by creating special connectors for more secure living on
board. All stainless steel items used on the boat are A4 classification.

Awning Sun support mechanism for the Family:

In our effort to avoid placing the supporting arches on the tubes of the vessel,
we designed sliding mechanisms which are located on either side of the rear
seat. This solves the issue and enables us to extrapolate and to adjust the
mounting of the awning in our discretion. At the same time when we close the
awning, the arches are carried on the back section along with Roll bar. When
closed, hand grips for the rear passengers are offered.

Support Mechanism for the rear Sun Bed:

Along with the back seat we can see the extension of the rear Sun Bed. The bed
is lifted with hydraulic assist, and in full development is 198cm long x 70cm
wide. At the bottom, sliding mechanisms ensure safe and stable support.

Bow sun bed.

At the rear section of the bow there are 4 slots to support the extension of the
front Sun Bed. In full development the bed is 195cm by 150cm. The pillows are
foldable and all items can be stored in a special place in the rear storage
compartment.

Bracket for auxiliary engine:

Patented by Dais Inox, it has a mechanical assist for ease of use and allows
installation of a four-stroke engine, up to 15 Hp.

Audio-Video:

Special enclosed spaces are provided for installation of 4 marine speakers

(165mm wide). In the governor's seat, a second control of the sound system is
installed. Marine amplifier and subwoofer 8" can be installed as an extra.

Tubes (sponsons)

We use fabric Hypalon-Neopren 1.670 dtex (Top Quality 866) from Pennel-Flipo,
Orca type 860. Experienced craftsmen use adhesive cold solder to create 6 air
chambers, with double internal bonding strips & alcove envelope to securely
place them on the boat. There is a protective perimeter of Neopren rubber and 8
Neopren handles.

Boat Upholsteries:

High quality fabrics from Italy of Germany are used. The filling foam used is
completely waterproof and Ertalon reinforcements are used for further strength.
All fabrics used for the upholstery have zero water absorption and UV
protection.

Drainage system:

Besides the self draining deck and storage compartments, all accessible spaces
are fitted with specially installed silicon gaskets. This is not only to ensure the
complete sealing of the premises, but it also helps avoiding direct contact of the
lids with the deck. The silicone rubber does not rub at the point of contact and
never moves from its position. All caps have very small gaps in implementation
and all parts of the gutters have been studied for quick drainage of water.

In the rear storage compartment, besides the two-tight spaces left and right, 3
stainless steel drain plugs are fitted. The one in the middle provides drainage for
the whole deck, while the ones fitted left and right are used for draining the
chine (in case they get water). In this way the storage area is completely
waterproof.

The front storage compartment and the driving console are built the same way
to ensure watertight spaces. In the recesses of the instrument panel, small
pipes for drainage are fitted. The boat has plenty watertight compartments so in
the unfortunate situation of an accident the problem will be restricted to the
point of hitting without affecting the rest of the watertight vessel.

There is also a perimetrically placed groove around the deck to collect the
minimum water. At the rear section non-return valves 50 are fitted and at the
outlet is a second non-return valve is placed. All pipes on board have metal
spiral that prevents folding.

Inside the vessel gutters for quick drainage are fitted and all water result to the
electric bilge.

The bow and stern anchor are also self-draining with direct output.

The driving console and seats are secured with stainless steel studs which are
fixed to the deck. Security screws and silicone are used to insulate the joint
sections.
