Title of the Bill: Shelter for Homeless Act

BE IT ENACTED BY THE MORRISON CONGRESS

1 SECTION 1: Findings
2 Congress makes the following findings:
3 1) on any given night in 2016, around 550,000 people experienced
4 homelessness.(1)
5 2) 1 in 1,670 Americans is homeless. (1)
6 3) Domestic Violence is one of the top reasons for family homelessness. (2)
7 4) Florida had more than double the number of hate crimes against the
8 homeless (3)

10 SECTION 2: Purpose
11 To require a shelter for homeless people in every community by working with
12 corporations and charities.

SECTION 3: General Provisions

America has a high percentage of homelessness, it is vital to help these people get
15
through cold and hot seasons. Food, bathroom, and safe shelter need to be
16 provided by the state government. Training should also be provided for free to
17 teach people, who spend their time at the shelter, a skill and certificate that can
18 help them find a job. Government should take the responsibility to help these
19 people by providing for them, can also seek financial donation by civilian
20 corporations and charities. Homeless people are still a part of the citizen body.
21 They are not to be neglected but rather need to be helped. Vulnerable people are
22 the ones that we need to especially pay attention to.

24 SECTION 4: Definitions
25 Homelessness: people who dont have a play to rental or bought house to stay at.
