The importance of a vigorous gas program is shown by t h e i n c r e a s i n g
number of gas c a s u a l t i e s s u f f e r e d b y t h e F i r s t Army Corps. The f i g u r e s a r e
u n o f f i o i a l and l n o m p l e t e b u t are unquestionably t o o low, as r e p o r t s of gas
