manufacturing company based in India
producing shirts and blouses for sale to
wholesalers in the UK and European
market.

decline in its market share and sales
turnover. Feedback from the wholesalers
suggests that the style and materials used
in the shirts and blouses are no longer popular with the UK and European markets.
Although they have also reported that the quality of the finished product, although al
little more expensive, is far superior to other manufacturing businesses they use.

The business employees 20 highly skilled and experienced machinists most of whom
have been with the organisation for more than 10 years. However, the equipment is
getting old and often breaks down. This has led to the motivation of the workforce
being low and there are signs that key decisions are not being communicated clearly
from the management to the workforce.

new business plan and suggests that she should start with a SWOT analysis.
